I ordered this about half a year ago now. I’ve worn it every day and still have a fair amount left. It lasts so long, and I actually originally got it to slightly hydrate the skin as creams leave me feeling too greasy. And it works fairly okay for that (I eventually found a cream that works for me that I apply on top). However the reason I’m actually reviewing after all this time is because after a long period of quarantine when I couldn’t see my sister much, we got together and started discussing our latest skincare routines and I hadn’t yet mentioned this product, but she took a good look at my bare face and said she was amazed that many of my acne scars from when I was a teenager had noticeably reduced, that my skin looks so much clearer and healthy. Then I told her that it was due to this product which has retinol in. But that was a very great moment for me and I’m glad I’ve been using this daily for so long. So I am recommending solely on that.The serum generally doesn’t clog my pores, however if my skin’s having a bad day it can cause a couple of spots to appear, but that doesn’t happen often so it’s not really a problem. I don’t get as much acne now but if you are acne prone might not be the best product for you due to that. I’d also say because it makes the face appear shiny (not in a greasy way, but I would assume this is down to the hylauronic acid) it can appear to highlight imperfections like spots on a bad skin day. However applying a mattifying cream on top of the serum has now fixed this for me.One thing is that the bottle needs to be shaken before use... I’m actually surprised it’s worked for all this time as I’ve only just realised that it collects sediment at the bottom, but that’s nothing to be concerned about as it’s natural for an organic product.I will be buying more of this when I eventually run out. For me it’s been very worth it. My skin seems to like it which is rare for me. When I find a product that agrees with me I stick with it. And that is the case here.

I had been using The Ordinary's Granactive Retinoid and, though it works well, I didn't like the sticky texture which took ages to sink in. I'm so glad that I found this. It has a lovely silky texture which absorbs quickly and it smells incredible (probably the sweet orange oil)! It's vegan and not tested on animals and the ingredients are high quality and nearly all natural. I love that the main ingredient is aloe vera rather than water and that, alongside retinol (vitamin A), the serum also contains vitamin C and E and argan oil.This leaves my skin looking lovely and smooth immediately and when I wake up the next morning. Remember with retinol products you do need to be patient as it can be at least 12 weeks before you see any results and you may experience peeling and purging in that time. I had already used retinol products for many months before using this so only saw some very minor peeling around my mouth when first using this but I no longer experience this. I have noticed a reduction in fine lines and my overall skin tone and texture.I think this product is wonderful and amazing value given that it's 3x the size of The Ordinary products and will last for ages!If you found my review helpful, please click the button below. I’m 34 and wanted a product that could slow down the aging process and keep my skin youthful and glowing. I was sceptical of this product at first because for a retinol product it was comparatively lower in price compared to some luxury brands. Previously I have tried 2% retinol products and all of them caused some irritation and skin peel to begin with,therefore, I had to build tolerance slowly. However, despite the claim that this product contains 3%retinol I have had no irritation at all! Perhaps because of the high content of aloe Vera which I assume calms the skin. My acne breakouts have significantly reduced since using the product and my makeup sits nicely on my skin. However, I have not noticed any difference to my fine lines at all. That said, it is a nice product that absorbs easily and comes nicely packaged. I didn’t receive an I formation leaflet with the product and there is no info on the bottle which was disappointing as I would have liked to have read the ingredients list and confirm the retinol percentage myself.

Please note that this product does not contain 3% Retinol. See in the question section where someone emailed the company and they themselves confirmed this.Instead it contains a “3% Retinol delivery system”, which basically could contain any amount of retinol they want, even something like 0.001%. The fact that in the email response they mentioned this supposed to be milder and for daily use implies than the amount of actual Retinol used is a degree lower than the more commonly used therapeutic doses.It’s a shame, since it’s a pretty pricey product for what you get. The ingredients are solid, and there isn’t much junk filler material, which is great... but there are many Hylauronic Acid and Vitamin C serums on Amazon for a lot cheaper than this, seems a shame to pay twice the price for an added fraction of Retinol.It’s a good product, the other ingredients within will still help the skin, and obviously all these 10,000 or so positive reviews don’t lie... it’s just a shame to see these sort of cunning “creative wording choices” that some companies use to mislead people into thinking they’re getting more for their money than they actually are.

I bought this serum as it seemed to have good organic ingredients and was great value for money. I have good skin and want to keep it and thought that this with the retinol, vitamin C and hyaluronic acid etc would hopefully be of benefit. I'm really glad that I did buy it as my skin is still soft but also feels a bit firmer and is glowing, I've been using it for a month and I know that retinol takes about 3 months to achieve it's full effect but I can definitely already see a difference. I had a few tiny lines at the outer corners of my eyes and they have diminished and that alone makes it worth buying! I had tried retinol serums before but found them hard to use as they were very watery and seemed to dry before you had a chance to spread them which made them uneconomical to use but this serum has a pleasant but not overly strong perfume and a lovely texture and spreads beautifully which makes it very economical. Those things together with the large size and the value make it a brilliant buy and even more amazing....my husband has noticed the difference!!!

Even though it's marketed for women (no idea why) as a straight man I use this product as im conscious to try and prevent signs of aging before it even starts... and of course protect my natural beauty ;)I've been using this for years and it works wonders, I naturally have big pores on my cheeks and this helps tighten them up, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated, clean and has a great smell.For those who haven't used a product containing retinol i'd recommend using a small amount at first whilst your skin gets used to it because you can end up with a red face if you use too much (almost like sunburn).This is a great affordable product, no need to spend lots of money on big brands when you have an affordable product here. Only problem i've had it trying to keep my girlfriend from using it all the time.

Uso questo siero da qualche anno sospendendolo nei mesi caldissimi e mi sono trovata benissimo. Ne basta veramente poco per viso e decolleté, non unge , si assorbe velocemente e idrata meravigliosamente per tutto il giorno. Il profumo è delicato e mi piace molto.

Vraiment il m’a purifier le vissages aux débuts il m’a brûlé il faut toujours mettre une crème hydratante car au début sa brûle mais sa dépend de la peau de la personne moi j’ai une peau très sensible j’ai des rougeurs et des gonflements après j’ai de tache brunes sa veut dire la peau morte j’ai pris des cacher pour l’allergique et sa marche j’ai début le produit un jour oui un jour non après après toute la peau morte s’est enlever je me suis trouvé avec un visage tout neuf vraiment j’ai étonné du résultat un peau très propre et douce et j’ai commencé a mettre chaque soir et je mets après une crème hydratante vraiment c’est un produit très bien la je parle de la peau très sensible dans mon cas à moi juste au début sa fait peur mais un peu de patience et vous finirai avec une résultat très satisfaisante juste au début il faut le mettre un jour sur autre jour après sur trois jour et ainsi, suite moi j’ai commencé le traitement chaque jour mais quand j’ai eu des brûlures j’ai espacé mais malgré les désagréments ça mérite je me suis trouvé uvec une peau très neuf et rayonnante ça veut le coup ✊

Okay i’m not going to lie, the product does not smell good. It smells like some kind of a dried spice (like star anise kind of) but the smell goes away quickly and does not linger after it’s dried. More importantly the product WORKS. my skin was so smooth after using, and i have used other retinols before so believe me when i say this one stood out. I even made my bf try it (i’m mostly white with very high maintenance skin needs, he is half black half white with normal maintenance and oily skin). He was glowing, sometimes his skin gets ashy and he looks grey almost, this stuff not only didnt turn him grey but it made his honey undertones shine. Honestly not fair~ but its worth a try for a wide range of skin types if u can get past the spicy smell lol. (Like a 3/10 on how bad the smell is imo. He didnt seem to notice at all 🙄 boys….)
