Are they comfortable to walk around on or can you feel the wires inside?

A lot depends on your boots, your socks and your terrain.  I can definitely feel the wires through my thin Smartwool socks, but it's only intermittently bothersome.  No matter how I wrap the extra cord or tuck them into my boot tongues, I have to reach down and pull the wires up multiple times a day or re-tuck the Velcro.  Part of this is due to jarring from skiing black to double-black terrain (bumps, trees, drops, etc.)  I wouldn't notice wires if I were skiing gentle groomers and wearing thicker socks.  Repeated up-and-down motion jars everything loose, especially plugs from their sockets, turning off the heat.  This is my biggest gripe.

How long are they running on full power ?

I need a pretty cold day (sub-10° F) and poorly insulated boots to run full power longer than 20-30 minutes.  I usually run at 50-75%, but I sometimes need full power at elevations above 11,000 feet or in the morning when ski boots are cold.  Full power drives out end-of-day clamminess but it causes excessive perspiration earlier, which leads to clamminess when the temperature drops.

Re-reading your question, maybe you wanted to know how long the batteries will last at full power?  Answer:  unknown – they are too hot to test at 100% power in 0° F and above with normal boots.  Maybe somebody else has extended sub-zero experience with them.

PS, I have chronically cold feet.

The toe shape does not match my boot. Can you cut the front/toe section without cutting the circuit?

yes, you can cut the front section more.  Even if the heating element is cut, the insole can still work normally.
