How long does your hair have to be before it will work?

My husbands hair is abt 1/2 inch in length an it works great. Hope my answer helps you on making a decision.

How do you order a specific comb size?

You can order the Twist it Up 4.0 that offers different sized combs that you can pop in and out. I didn't order that one but now that my hair is tapered on the sides and in the back I should order 4.0 because the original one that I have doesn't catch the shorter hairs.
