ToiletTree Products Adjustable 100% Natural Bamboo Wooden Bathtub Caddy with Extending Sides

I purchased this product for my kids bathtub to give them a little extra space to put their cups, etc. that they love to fill with water. I got sick of having to clean up the mess on the bathroom floor since they are currently using the side of the tub for their play. I really liked the design of this caddy because it gave a lot of open space and wasn't too deep. The layout would have worked perfectly for what I needed. And I know this isn't a product for kids, BUT I couldn't ignore the fact that there were several split wood right out of the box. In fact, as I was putting it on the bathtub I got a splinter. I will be returning this product. Even if it wasn't for my kids, I rather not handle this thing with extreme care in fear of getting splinters, etc. Hopefully this was an isolated issue, but I can't recommend this product from what I received.***update***I initially tried to return the product, as I typically do for amazon, to be surprised that the product would cost $14 for me to ship back to the manufacturer. I decided to cancel my return and contact customer service. They were extremely professional and reassured me that this was an isolated issue. When given the choice of a replacement or return, I chose the return as I already had another product coming for my children. When I stated the cost of the return, they told me to keep the product and discard it myself. I am hoping my product is an isolated issue because, otherwise, this seems to be a great caddy.

I chose this particular product over others mostly because of the size - my house has a wider claw foot tub and I didn't want to be cutting it close with a smaller tray. Mostly, I plan on using it to hold bath products.My one complaint so far is that it did come out of the box broken when I received it, which doesn't seem to be an uncommon problem based on other reviews. On one of the movable sides, a thin slice of the curved portion where it rests on the tub just snapped off along the grain. I have some wood glue and clamps, and I don't really feel like waiting longer to return it and get a replacement, so I'm just fixing it myself since it was a clean break and hoping it still holds up fine when exposed to moisture. The product came inside a slim box with no packing material to protect it during transit, so if it got tossed around it's not surprising that such a lightweight item could get damaged. If this is a frequent issue the manufacturer should probably just package the item a little better.

I was recently in The Maldives and a beautiful bungalow awaited our arrival. Spread across this glorious bathtub was a teak bathtub caddy complete with products of every description. I had such an amazing vacation that I wanted to replicate it as much as I could in my day to day life. As soon as I got home, I wanted to find a bath caddy to display by bath oils, shampoos etc. I began my search on Amazon and ordered two, knowing I would keep the one I liked most. I was very excited to receive them, but when they arrived promptly from the seller, I was disappointed that this one did not give enough table space to hold what I wanted, nor did it fit securely on the bathtub and the result would have been a disaster with all products landing in my bathtub water. I will need to continue my search since I returned them both.

My tub has no side space for holding shampoo and other bottles. I got this to put across my tub to store about 6 bottles of various sizes (shampoo, body wash etc.) my clarisonic, razor, and pumice stone. Works great so far. Very sturdy. My tub is 2 feet wide and there is still room for the caddy to stretch out longer. One star off for the cost--but I guess that is the payoff to have something that doesn't rust!

Advertising says this product is mold resistant, but clearly this is not the case. See photos. While I love the way this functions in the tub, its size expandability, and so on, I was shopping for something that would not mold and would last for a very long time. I have only used this product a few months and as you can see, it has mold that I cannot seem to prevent. Will be contacting Amazon today to ask about refund!

We have an old clawfoot tub in a 115-year old home. Because of the way the bathroom was built (it's quite small), have yet to figure out a ways to put in a curtain for a standing shower. We can only use a hand held shower thingy while sitting in the tub. As well, there is no good way to put in a shelf to hold things like soap, shampoos, bath oils, back scrubber and such. This caddy not only fit our somewhat wide tub well, needing to be fully extended to do so, its solid construction has been perfect to hold a bunch of bath things without any stress. Looks great and makes our bath life MUCH easier.

When I placed the caddy in the proper way, as shown, it collapsed as soon as I placed a bottle of shampoo on it. I turned it upside down, so that the tray is higher than the expandable sides, and it looks like it will hold my shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, etc. Not altogether happy with the product, but it will suffice.

I liked the look of this caddy, and the way it extended to exactly fit the space is terrific. But... it is totally unsuitable for use in a shower - it rots. In response to a previous similar complaint, ToiletFree said it needs to be wiped down between uses. This is totally impractical. I have more than a dozen items placed on it, and I'm supposed to remove them, wipe down this thing (which has lots of crevices), and then put everything back after every shower? I don't think so.

I have used this in my bath and do like it. It will hold a candle, a drink or other small item you want. I didn't think it was worth the money I put out! It seems all of these bathtub trays are overpriced to me.It does add to my bath experience with its convenience for adding a relaxing drink, candle etc.It arrived on time and was as described.

Whilst it looks good, this product is not water resistant in any way or varnished to protect it from water damage. After two months use, the bamboo is mouldy and has split along the runners at the sides. If you are going to buy this for use in an environment where there may be some water (a bathroom, for instance...), just make sure that you don't get it wet.

Very flimsy and opens crooked. I don't trust this item to hold my belongings over water.

Very good. Could use grips on underside to stop it from sliding on tub sides. Would like to find a caddy with a deeper pocket for holding bottles etc.
