Aqueon Fish Tank Aquarium Algae Remover, 4 oz

I wish I read the other comments before I purchased and used this. My fish died within 4 hours of using the correct amount via the instructions. I'm so sad... poor little guy had made it through so much already and then this is what killed him. DO NOT BUY

Did not work did not help the algae in my tank and snail died after started using. Yes i followed the instructions.

Killed all my fish accept one!!! I followed the instructions to a tee and within 24 hours 10 fish were dead. On the up side, my tank is clear. Would not recommend!

Half of my fish died the next day after I used this product following all the instructions on the label. So disappointed

Had a green alge bloom in my tank, looked around and saw this product. It said it was fish safe, I opted to go on the cautious side and use half the recommended dose for my particular sized tank. I had three neons, three coreys, 5 molys and a baby moly. Upon first application the next day the baby was dead. The next day one of my moly's was exhibiting strange behavior, swimming frantically, then suddenly stopped and died. The day after another molly was exhibiting the same behavior and he too also died the same way. The other moly's are also swimming erratically and showing signs of bladder disease that they did not have prior to the application of this product to the tank. I tried to rule out coincidence but the fact that it has happened to one fish after another in short order leads me to believe strongly that this product is the cause for their demise. Now to clarify this was an established tank, all the Ph, Ammonia, Nitrate and Nitrite levels were monitored closely and nothing was off kilter. It's a shame as the product annihilated all of my fish as I have probably another day or two to go before the rest pass as a result of using this product. For a green alge bloom I'd steer away from this product, it's better to move your fish to another tank or spot and swap the entire tank out, water, contents, everything and re-establish then re-introduce. While the product did clean up the alge bloom in under a day, it took out my entire tank of fish. It was painful to watch and sad and should not have happened.

Don’t buy this unless you want to watch your fish die a slow death … this company should be sued … the amount of reviews on this website claiming the same thing, our fault for not reading them before buying. Worst product , and did not overdose, in fact used less than the suggested amount once , same day our fish was floating at the top of the tank wouldn’t eat next day floating barely moving last day dead.

I followed the dosage instructions and it still killed all of my fish. This is crazy,
