Swissmar Andrea 4-Inch Pepper Mill, Glossy Red

This was an add-on deal, my other grinders (a gift from a relative) reeally didn't do a good job, they are tall stainless and one is better than the other. I bought the salt grinder that pairs with this one, also an add-on and the only ways I would be happier is, if it was taller and perhaps a different material, the unit is nice, but after my others would prefer wooden. The grind range and dispersal is so much better, it's hard to even compare, I haven't needed to refill yet so I can't comment on how that goes, but the adjustment and grind has me very pleased. I also liked i could get these as individual pieces, the set was a little bit more, and I like the red cap better than the black in the sets. Good ceramic grinder (not like my other grinders - also ceramic I think), Though my goal is wooden ones, I would consider the larger swissmar's even if acrylic.

I didn't want a tall grinder. I wanted something small that fit my spice rack. I do not cook on a regular basis so this works very well for me. For a cooking fanatic that would use it rather heavily , I don't feel this is what you would want as you may want something a little more sturdy. But for my lifestyle-it's perfect.

I got this as a gift for my mother. She asked for an adjustable pepper mill that wasn't too big. She originally had a different one picked out, but after looking around a bit, I found this gem. She's always enjoyed a pop of color in her kitchen, and the size was perfect. She tells me it works great for course ground pepper!
