Bought these GIDERWEL LED strip lights for ambient lighting, and they deliver a really nice vibe for the price. The colors are vibrant, and the brightness is strong enough to light up a room or create a good accent behind a TV or under cabinets. Installation was simple—just peel and stick—and the strip is flexible enough to go around corners. The remote works well and gives a lot of options for colors, brightness, and modes like fade or flash, which is great for parties or just setting the mood. The waterproof coating is a nice bonus if you’re using it in areas like kitchens or outdoors (light exposure). Great for decorative and ambient lighting at an affordable price. Perfect for bedrooms, TV backlighting, or casual setups. Not the most premium option, but definitely worth it for the cost.

I used this for uplighting and highlighting areas of my wall. It works great for the application. Easy to use. Flexible, very bright and colors are amazing. There is so much you can do with this based on the controller you use. Setup is easy. Comes with double stick tape and lead wires to go into the control. You can also make custom sizes and add or cut to size to fit your application well just ensure that you cut at the noted points. Overall great product and reasonable for the money.

The markings on the strip for the red and green channel are flipped but the wires are colored correctly. These are cheap so not a big deal but something to watch out for. The connectors are extremely wimpy and easily come loose. I am targeting these for lighted suits for stage performers controlled by Arduino microprocessors so the connectors won't work for that as they come loose way too easily but for an in your house application that is stationary these are just fine.

Nice quality RGBW strip however I purchased this because I didn't want to purchase an additional Wi-fi controller just to have a longer run of LED strips. This product was literally in FAQ section of this product: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QBKRCW1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Yet the color is slightly off especially anything involving the Blue diode. When I set it to any thing around pink/magenta I can see one of the diodes staying completely Red. Adhesive is a joke. Yeah, you can use the fasteners provided to put it on the wall/ceiling or wherever you're using it but once the adhesive wears off (which took less than a day) you'll have drooping strands that are only hanging on by the fasteners. I decided to risk my security deposit and just hot glue the damn thing all the way across pictured here. It's good enough but only barely.

Pros- ***Full roll is used, i've seen some give us a strip with only a little bit of it rolled onto the roll so i like that they use the minimal material of rolls or maximum or LEDs. ***Bright for sure, i suppose all LED strips are, but i'm just saying this one isn't one of those fluke ones that isn't that bright. ***Includes a little bit of extra wiring for DIY-ing if you're into that. Cons- ***5 pin connector means i couldn't the controller i have for another strip and needed to order another. ***No magnets in strip, i think these should be a necessity because then it can be mounted in some places much easier and less messy. ***As for the listing on amazon, i was a little agitated it wasn't super clearly stated that this did not come with a controller, nor did they state what app they referenced when saying "corresponding app" so i had to dig in the Q&A section of the listing. I'd suggest more openly listing names of apps that can be used if there is a specific one or multiple depending on controller used, and also stating there is not controller included openly, because unless i completely overlooked it, it was agitating to dig for that information. I'm not sure if this would be possible either, but having converters to 4-pin connectors for other controller would be neat, even if some functionality is lost, because so far most of my other LED strips have been 4 pin. Making this addressable would also be nice as it's a functionality i heavily seek in LED strips. If you don't mind buying a controller seperately and dealing with that, nor do you need addressable lights, this is for you. They are bright as normal LED's should be and get their job done.

The glue is pathetic. A lot of things can go wrong with an LED strip but I didn't think the adhesive would be one of them. Renders them almost unusable. I've bought cheap low quality LED strips before and the glue has been fine, way better than this one. Really frustrating to use when it won't stick to anything, makes the strip really difficult to use. The birghtness and light quality is good enough, but the adhesive quality makes it almost impossible to use

I paired this LED strip with the GIDERWEL Zigbee controller to create a faux Hue strip and it worked seamlessly. I am very pleased with the light output and colors. They are responsive and all the colors (except white) match the Phillips Hue brand bulbs in my room. You would need to get the strip with both the warm and cool white in order to replicate the same whites. I will likely do that in the future but for now, I can live with the slight difference regarding the white color. I mainly got it for the colors and in that regard, it matches up great and is plenty bright for my room even during the day when there is a bunch of light coming in. I will be buying more for other projects around the house.

I bought these lights, received them today, and discovered they don’t come with the controller or power adapter to operate them. I’ve spent about an hour looking for a way to contact the seller so I can find out which controller I need and which power adapter I need, but not only did these come with zero literature, I can’t even find a way to contact the seller on Amazon either. At first glance, these lights seem great since they work via ZigBee and have DMX control, but unfortunately, the info that comes with these lights, or lack thereof, could be better. I was really looking forward to using these and buying another 20+ strips and having everything running off of a DMX system. I don’t recommend anyone buying these unless you already have everything needed and want to expand your current lights. This is very unfortunate.
