Will this work for a cat?

I bought a small and it fits my large cat (12 lb 14.5 " chest) well but is too big for my small cat (8 lb 13.5" chest). Cats are more flexible than dogs so you may have to go a size down. It is so much easier to get on than the other harness we have I recommend it.

The description includes, "strong velcro closure". I do not see this in any of the images. I would prefer that. Is it available elsewhere?

If you will look at the pictures beside the item, there are two fairly good ones that show the D-rings, under those, the buckle, and if you will notice, there are two overlapping flaps under the buckle. The bottom flap has Velcro on the top surface and the top flap has Velcro on the bottom surface. When you press the top flap to the bottom flap, they Velcro together. Yeah, the manufacturer could have included a better picture showing the Velcro on both flaps since it is a selling point of this product, but they didn't. Trust me, the flaps Velcro's together. When you pull the flaps apart, it makes that distinctive Velcro sound. Hope this helps.
