RADEON HD7770 SERIES 2GB GDDR5 SDRAM PCI-E 3.0 GRAPHICS CARD ASIN: B00MAT4SBG Review: Looks good on paper for the price. We shall see... - UPDATE: Apparently 13 people did not like the fact that I wrote a review before I received the video card lol! Oh well, cant please everyone. I still think that my initial review was pretty fair but lets get on with the update. I already mentioned all the specs and technicalities of this card in my initial review(having looked them up on AMD's site and from what was already written in desertcart's product description). All I can do now is tell you how its been working for me. The Video card is meant to be an inexpensive, "mid level" entry into gaming video cards according to the write up on AMD's web site, but it sure has done the trick for me. I bought it because my old video card could not run Alien Isolation(the old card was not compatible with DirectX11). With this card I can run Alien Isolation at high settings with no issues whatsoever. For those of you who play Second Life, I can run Second Life between high and Ultra settings and its fluid! No lag on SL anymore whatsoever when I use to think that lag was something that you had to live with concerning SL. This card is very quiet as well. I have yet to hear its fan. Just for reference, I will describe the rest of my computer. Im running Windows 7 with a quad core, AMD processor, 8gb of ram, two 1 terabyte hard drives, one 320gb hard drive, and a 680watt psu. This card also runs every other game that I have on max settings perfectly(to include FC3, Skyrim, and many others). Its a real treat to go back and play all these games on high and ultra high after you have been able to play them on only basic video settings before. Hope this helps^^ This card requires a 450-500 Watt power supply with a 6 pin power connector. I have ordered this card from this seller but have yet to receive it(I just ordered it yesterday, 11-29-14). I will leave a proper review once I have received and used the card. Its specs are decent for a budget gaming card though and its power consumption is much lower than most other video cards of similar caliber. It is bulky but I have plenty of room in my case. It will take up two slots so consider that when purchasing. I have high hopes for this video card considering what I want to use it for. Like I said, I will leave a better review after I have the card and have installed and used it. Review: Best for the Price - Great Card. I currently use the dvi output on a 1600x900 resolution and can run most games ultra. GTA V gives a good beating, but it still gets ~50 fps which is EXCELLENT!!! It's great specs for the price, and I'm even buying a second monitor that displays 1080 and it should work just fine, maybe a small fps drop. Overall, best card I have ever had for the cost. Could use another dvi output though.

Card did not work in my PC.
PC would not boot with card installed will return. Probably the fault of HP Bios on my PC but had no other machine to test it on.

Driver Issues
I have had this card in my XPS 8500 for about 2 years now and I have not had any issues with it. It works great the only issue I had with it that when the driver had an update it would not install properly and I had to completely uninstall the driver and all instances of the AMD folder it was in. After doing a custom install I finally had success. The next update then did the same thing as before but it was less of a headache because I knew what to do to fix the issue.
