Eyeskey 8x32 Compact Binoculars for Adults and Kids with Phone Adapter, Super Bright Lightweight Binoculars Perfect for Bird Watching, Travel

I'm a serious birder who owns a pair of high-end Swarovski binoculars. I wanted to buy a pair of cheap binoculars that were small, portable, and I didn't have to worry about much. But I also wanted something that provided decent image quality. I have been pleasantly surprised with the Eyeskey 8X32 Wayfarer. The image is crisp and clear, with just a tiny bit of clarity loss towards the edges of the viewing area. The field of view is ample. I wouldn't consider these a super-compact pair of binoculars, but they are smaller than the typical full-size. Still, they aren't the type of thing you could tuck into a shirt pocket or something. That being said, they are very lightweight. A few more comments:Eyecups: The eyecups can be turned up or down. They slide pretty nicely. There is no intermediate position, so it is either up or down. My only small complaint is that when the cups and down, there is a little bit of jiggle, so when you face touches against them, there is a small movement. Doesn't affect the function at all, I just find is slightly annoying.Center focus wheel: moves smoothly, and about 3/4 of a rotation covers the entire focus area, so you don't need to be spinning it a lot to focus well.Accessories: comes with lens caps for the bottom lenses which can be slid over each barrel of the binoculars. Also has a one-piece lens cap for the tops of the barrels. An additional accessory which I haven't used yet is a cell phone adapter so you can take photos through the binoculars.Close focus: the actual close focus is about 13-15 feet. I wish it was a bit closer, but not the worst. Wouldn't be ideal for those looking to use them to watch butterflies, etc.I really was pleasantly surprised by these binoculars, especially the quality of the image, given they only cost $50. I would definitely recommend them for someone looking for an inexpensive pair of binoculars for birding that is lightweight.Update: August 2022. These binoculars are still going strong and my son uses them daily as his main birding binoculars. They have held up well, and I'm still impressed by the quality for the price. I've recommended them to others and recently bought another pair for a friend. I just hope that the quality control is such that the clarity and alignment of each pair is the same as the ones I purchased.

I have several pairs of binoculars for birding and observing nature. I have different pair for different situations and have a pair in various places so I'll always have some handy. I wanted a cheap but decent compact set to keep in my little utility vehicle when I'm out roaming on the place, something I wouldn't worry too much about rattling around or getting lost, dirty or broken. They are surprisingly well built for $50, and they are very clear and sharp. Another bonus for me is that they focus in the same direction as my Nikon binoculars, which is a bit unusual, as most other brands are the opposite.

We live on a lake and I bought these to be able to see what was swimming around out there. They do the trick! Obviously at this price point you're not going to get professional quality, but for what I wanted, I am pleased. Haven't really used the cell phone connector because it's pretty shaky.

This is a compact, sturdy binocular. Clear images. Comes with a case and good instructions.

Will not adapt to newer iPhones

wow these binoculars are amazing! Perfect for us on our long hikes!! Compare this to $500+ binoculars for a fraction of the price! I'm going to buy 2 more for the family!

I probably got what I deserved. I have bought low cost binoculars before and they worked reasonably. This 8x32 pair is very disappointing. The seller's description leaves too much to imagination. For example, the close focus distance is not mentioned and I did not expect 2 or 3 meters. Yet the actual 10 meters is not reasonable in modern binoculars! Another example: the focusing wheel looks reasonable and it turns more than one and a half turns. However, only about a quarter turn takes the focus from infinity to minimum focus. It is difficult to get accurate focus in between. For just a few dollars more, my Carson RD 8x26 are much better in all respects.

I was instantly impressed with the image quality, brightness and field of view of these binoculars. These are superb for the size, although not pocket sized and actually a little larger than I expected, they are easy and lightweight to carry and we got good use of them when we took them hiking on holiday.They come with a good case and a decent neck strap which is broad enough to be comfortable on the neck, plus lens caps which were easy to pop on and off while remaining safely attached.It also comes with a camera adaptor which I tested briefly - pictures attached to show the fitting on my iPhone 8 and resulting pictures. It’s a bit fiddly to set up and the phone case had to be removed to fit, but it’s a nice bonus feature.Overall, would definitely recommend & buy again.
