One of the best products ever! All of my Christmas cookies, cuchedatte (Italian fig cookies) are so soft and tender. The freshness lasts longer than American baking powder. A reminder of Italy
I had a cooking class and the chef made a cake for dessert and used this product. The cake was delicious although I can't state categorically that it was because of this product! :) But, I was happy to find that I could buy it here in America if I wanted to just as a reminder of my wonderful trips to Italy. I think that when I get around to trying it, if I use a recipe that calls for baking powder/soda AND vanilla, I will probably still include at least some of the vanilla. I think in America, we are accustomed to more of the vanilla flavor than this product may give. I look forward to experimenting a little with it. Also, I did discover that it can be purchased in packages for a slight savings. And is it any wonder we love all things Italian? Isn't "lievito pane degli angeli" a lot more beautiful than baking powder!?

What my Italian poundcake has been missing!!
Excellent product and just what my Italian poundcake recipe was missing. Cake came out smoother and softer! LOVE it! Will be buying more in bulk!
