Themended temperature for manufacturing with liquid dyes is under 180⁰ f or 85⁰ c. Working at higher temperatures or prolonged exposure to heat can degrade the colors, causing fading or color alteration to appear. The following factors that may affect the amount of dye required for the desired shade includes, the opacity and type of wax, wax additives and last but not least fragrance.
