In Brazil, we only use coarse salt for barbecue. Nothing else, and it's the best salt for making a delicious picanha.

Massive rock salt
These suckers are literally the size of peas. They went well to season the crust of my picanha steak. The flavor was amazing and a must have for any brazilian style bbq cooking. I will definitely be picking up more when I run out.

Great salt to use on beef when cooking sous vide and finishing on a super hot grill, for a Brazilian steakhouse type finish. I love the larger granules. One piece of advice is that it is quite easy to over salt your food with this product.

Perfect for grilling.
My first time traveling to Brasil, I noticed this salt being used at everyone barbecue and my wifentold me that it's very common. I brought some home brasil at that time and my BBQ has never been the same. After running out I used Kosher salt, but it just wasn't the same. This salt makes for great grillling.
