I would think so. Ball valve shutoffs are all basically the same. I guess if somehow your valve was “upside down “ you would just mount the auto shutoff motor the same way. I don’t actually own the water heater shutoff. I own A couple of the washing machine shutoffs and I love them. I guess I didn’t realize there was a water heater unit, I might need to get some of these too

I want to install on straight copper 3/4 " pipe, what compression fittings do I need on inlet and outlet of solenoid valve?
