Good product until failure
Works very well! However, after 200 injections, not 199 or 201 the Autojector failed and needed replacing! Not like my vibrator where I heated it up and bent the plastic sideways and included batteries, it works wonderfully!

This tool is life-changing and life-saving.
Updated** - Now using this product for a year. It's still working. Bought a second just in case it wears down, but have not had to use it. My dog is stable and happy. I don't think we would be at this point without this device. If purchasing this, never do a "dry run". It says in the instructions that dry runs will break the device. When testing this out I loaded a syringe with water and shot it into an unpeeled banana, so I could get the needle depth right without damaging the device. Worked perfectly. Also, if using this with a dog, the needles may be so small that the chart for measuring the depth adjuster may not apply. We had to screw the smallest top on all the way to get the right needle length exposure. I don't normally leave reviews, but this is a must. My dog has diabetes and he was okay with the injections for exactly 4 days, then he started fighting us. It was a two person job to give an injection and a stressful nightmare for everyone involved. I found someone who suggested this tool and immediately purchased it. Getting the right and most comfortable length for the needle took some experimenting, but we've got it sorted now and just found out our dog is officially a well-managed diabetic. I highly recommend this tool. It's easy to use and basically fool-proof. It turns a nightmare into a one person and doable job and I think has helped in getting our dog to "cruise-control". There are YouTube tutorials to help navigate using it and once you figure out the right needle length, it's set it and forget it. I didn't know if our dog was going to get to a stable point and I no longer dread meal time or even think about it outside of actually doing it. This gadget is a game changer and makes managing a diabetic dog possible, if your dog is like mine and kind of rude sometimes.

I need english !
The written directions are for individuals who read DE, IT, and SV. English directions were not provided with the Autoject 2 inside the box/case or on the outside packaging. Even the picture directions have DE, IT, and SV directions pointing to locations on the device. Very disappointed.

Good once you know how to use it
Good quality product. Effective for its purpose. Incomplete instructions! A little too easy to use wrong.

a blessing
I am using this on one of our dogs. It has been a real blessing, giving him shots twice a day was a nightmare for everyone. He still squirms a bit, but it's much easier to keep the needle on him with this and have him get the full dose of insulin. I am giving this 5 stars because it has made giving the shots so much better. I think there is room for improvement, it is a bit clunky to work the trigger mechanism, but it gets the job done so well I can overlook that quibble. I worked with the Vet to figure out the setting (the little 'j' mark for the 13.5 units we're now on, with BD Insulin Syringes with BD Utra-Fine Needle - For U-100 insulin - 31 Gauge 3/10 cc 5/16 inch; got 'em here on Amazon). I have found though, for my little dog, the 6mm needle extension is a bit much. Perhaps I am doing the wrong thing, but I have twiddled until I have the needle point extending 3mm, and it works just fine as far as I can tell. No insulin on his fur, his glucose is checking down and steady, he's frisky, and the 6mm was painful, 3mm, he wiggles a bit, I do a count for a couple of seconds to make sure he gets the dose, we get on with our lives.

Great Device!!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this brand because it has generally good reviews and there are videos to show how to use the device correctly. This is a fabulous product! I don't usually leave reviews, but this auto injector has been a game changer for me. I have a hard time with injections. With this auto injector, the needle is hidden, the needle gets automatically inserted in the skin when the injector button is pushed, and the plunger automatically is pressed down to inject the medication. I just use a bit of lidocaine cream about 10-15 minutes prior and I don't feel a thing or have any discomfort. The set up is a bit complicated, but I watched the video on the manufacturer's website and I am able to use the syringes sent with the meds even though they are not the brands listed in the directions pamphlet. You just need to practice with an empty syringe and make sure that the needle extends 6mm beyond the end of the device when the auto injector is activated. This device is totally worth it if you don't like poking yourself with a needle!

Great for GLP1 vial application..
I recently switched from the Zepbound injection pens to vials. This tools made the transition seamless. Requires a onetime adjustment to set the needle depth. The instruction guide on how to do it is simple. Once its set, this tool works well. Highly recommend it for those that are seeking a seamless transition to vials.

No good for all needles
They need to be clear about that, once released it shoots like a slingshot fast (it can be painful)
