Victory in the Wilderness: Growing Strong in Dry Times

Good book. Bought it for our Sunday School Class.

Digging out of yourself and into Gods true love is hard. This book opens your mind to God and away from your troubles. Explaining the troubles other drug through and why. Great read if your struggling with your faith but this. Good luck and God bless you all.

This book is a great resource for anyone going through a dry season. The focus on allowing God to build godly character in us and for us to focus on his heart and will in preparation for what he has for us is spot on. Thank you John for letting the Lord speak through you to help the body of Christ to mature in this season.

I love this book because it really makes you think seriously about your walk with Jesus. I love the author he is very outspoken and honest about what a believer should do. It makes you stop and realize that we owe our everything to Jesus. He did all for us and it is only right for us to live for him. You should try it for your self if you are really serious about your walk as a Christian this is the book to make you stop and think about life. I highly recommend this book.

Although I do not agree with some of John Bevere's theological view about the end time, this book is a good read.

One of my favorite books! I know this book was inspired by The Holy Spirit of a God! It is about The Baptism Of fire! The purpose of wilderness times in a persons life is part of the sanctification process. How you respond in the trials and testing of life determines your outcome. You can be pitiful or powerful, but you can't be both. There are tests coming your way in life. I suggest you read this book 3 times so you will be able to pass the test.

I have been so blessed by this book. I learned through this book that my heart is really set on the things of this world especially in regard to seeking fulfillment from my work (job) rather than seeking fulfillment from God. This has been really great for me to know and now I thank God for what he has opened my eyes to see. Onwards and upwards as I join other believers in pressing towards the high calling of God in Christ Jesus our Lord—to be conformed into the image of His Son so that I can fully enjoy fellowship with Him.

Victory in the Wilderness is life changing - a powerful read!

Truly a very important book to have re making sense of the spiritual wildernesses that God is going to take (drag) all of us kicking & screaming through. Great to have on my digital devices for a very cheap price. Highly recommend

Was reading it amid terrible personal turmoil I was undergoing to do with my father's cancer diagnosis. JB through his spectacular book 'Victory in the Wilderness' really sustained me in those days of darkness. Indebted that Lord used him through this book!!

The book gives a clear understanding as to why people must pass through the wilderness, along with good insight and teaching into the significance of the time. A quality book.

All Christians go through a wilderness experience. This was a brilliant book and is timely even though he wrote a long time ago. Very practical and insight but very readable

Recommended if you are trying to make sense of down times in your walk with God
