Tun-o-matic bridges are industry standard these days and produced at volume. It is therefore reasonable to expect high standards. On the good side, this bridge seems reasonably well-engineered, as should be expected at this price point. However, given that good looks are an integral requirement of such parts, it is very disappointing to see a very thin and unconvincing "gold" plating used on this item. To give you an idea of just how poor the plating is, it looked worse than the worn Epiphone part it was meant to replace. Additionally, I doubt this plating is gold, as it is a very weak slightly greenish-yellow, reminiscent of cheap zinc formulations used for screws. While I might expect substitutes for gold at this price - brass plating or electrophoretic lacquers, for example - what I don't expect is for the end result to be entirely unconvincing, or fail to come even close to matching existing budget "gold" plate items. It certainly doesn't match the photos. So no matter how well this item functions, its aesthetics let it down badly and, as such, I found it unusable. Maybe the chrome or black versions may be more usable.

I purchased these for an old guitar refurbishment. Cheap enough and perfect swap over. Would recommend.

Decent bridge. Couldn't find any rough edges. All good!

Ordered these in October of last year and just got round to adding them on this build. Unfortunately my excitement was short lived given the poor craftsmanship of the product. String holes are not drilled through properly and have sharp, rough endges. Rough metal edges on all string guides would instanly destroy any string you added.
