Horrible book. Patterns make no sense. I am an experienced at crocheting. I tried twice to follow a pattern for sweater and it didn’t work. It is translated from French and I think they don’t use the same terminology as U.S. a waste of money in my opinion

I am already making a couple of items for my granddaughter. Easy to use instructions and they are turning out cute.

All yarn specifications call for French brand of yarn, most ranging from #1 weight to #3 weight, with only two patterns using #4 weight. Instructions do not provide alternative types of yarn. Instructions do not provide alternative sizing for different weights, which would be useful and although not a customary inclusion, here the French yarn specifications warrant it. The pictures and the book itself are beautiful. The layout and instruction detail is well done. I have no way of knowing what yarns to use, which makes the book useless to me.

This is poorly written and hard to figure out! Don’t bother buying!!

American crochet terms, a real pain for the British reader. Many mistakes in the patterns and some patterns, like the fringed jumper are just too ridiculous ever to be made. Generally disappointing.

Very hard to follow patterns have really got to study them, once I worked them out I made a nice jumper for my great granddaughter.

Disappointed with this book it was was not the modern designs I expected sorry to say this
