My 6-year old and I love these "Dragon Books" with Drew and Diggory Doo. I love the easy to learn lessons in this book series. Since there are so many books and varying topics, it makes it easy to pick a book to tailor to your kid's needs. I highly recommend this series about Drew teaching his pet dragon, Diggory Doo, many valuable lessons! The illustrations are really cute, too!

Lovely book!

I cannot rave more about these Diggory Doo dragon books. My son loves them and I love the messages behind the books. I have several of the How to Train Your Dragon books and read one nightly to my 4 year old son. Its a little more advanced than what my 4 year old needs, though he still enjoys them and has invested himself in Diggory Doo and Drew's lessons. My son is an only child and hasn't had the best socialization with others his age, so he is socially awkward and pretty self centered. This book helped my son see that how we treat others is important if we want to make friends and stay friends. These books are seriously the best and I plan on ordering more!

Im a child psychologist and mother of 3 kids. when my 4 year old was struggling making friends at school we read this book and practiced the dragon’s skills together. He came home the next day and enthusiastically reported he made a new friend. This is a lovely story with good examples of what not to do and how to behave to make new friends. I will likely begin to use this book in my clinical work with young kids struggling with social skills and recommend to parents.

I love this book! I love that it's from a small author/illustrator (I can't wait to support their other works since I loved this one!). I bought this based on some review photos that showed specific content from the book, and I loved that there's step by step, specific advice for making friends rather than a nuanced general lesson/theme that only an adult or older kid may grasp. My son is on the spectrum and my daughter is starting kindergarten after years of quarantine, so I thought this would be the perfect boost for them to help them get their feet wet socializing. They love this book just as much as I do. Well done!

Received this book today and instantly went to read it to my 4 year old daughter. While I read it to her, she stayed extremely focus and followed along so well. It was clear that the easy to follow wording and illustrations really drew her in! She made comments all throughout the book on what the dragon was doing wrong and was so happy when he would do things the ‘correct’ way. I loved all the examples this book used and most of them related to the behavior I see in my daughter that I would like for her to change, and it came off in a cute and fun way rather than educational. I can easily see it becoming her new favorite book!
