Reliable light
Overall: I have had this light for 6 weeks now and it has worked amazing straight out of the box. I highly recommend it. Installation: Took maybe 5 mins. As easy as plugging it in and setting a clock. The instructions to set it up are very simple like any other timer you might buy. I screwed it into the ceiling versus using the adhesive sticker. The light bulb itself does not get hot at all. Timer ease: You can set 2 different times for it to come on/off (i.e. on at 6am & off at 8am, then back on at 3pm & off 5pm). I choose to have the lights come on once in the morning & stay on for 10 continuous hours. They haven't failed once and consistently work as stated. I think the brightness of the light is pretty decent. It's not dim at all and even in the daylight I can tell it's still on - which is what I wanted since the henhouse can stay pretty dark in our winter months. Egg production: I have cold hearty chicken breeds, but I do see an increase in their egg laying. With a camera pointed at the nesting boxes, it is easy for me to keep a log of who lays what and when. Even if the light didn't increase egg production, I like that my chickens wake up and start eating. Chickens stay warm by eating and with it currently being zero degrees here, they need the extra time to eat so they can keep warm. My personal stats for reference: Henhouse dimensions 8'x2.5'x4' . 4 chickens (3 regular, 1 miniature). Climate is Northern Michigan (sun rises 7:30a & sets 5:00p, December temps 0 - 20)

Keypad faulty after 1.5 month
Bought this light October 18th. We own an electrical.company, so I can assure you it is hooked up properly. Keypad doesn't work unless you rub across it like there's a short inside. No live customer service. On the phone with them now, so I'll update my review based on the $60 I hope I'm not about to eat.

I love this light!
I love this light. It is small, it stays out of the way and it provides a huge amount of light for our coop. I have used the big metal clip on type lights for years and from time to time the chickens fly into it and knock it down, the cord has to hang across the coop to plug it in. This little light takes up no space, no chance the chickens are going to mess with it. I did have a little trouble programming it, the instructions were confusing so I found a video on YouTube and had it programmed in a minute (it was actually easy once I understood) you can easily do multiple times and days and all that stuff, but for me I just want it to come on at night for a few hours. Works like a charm. Being LED I am sure it consumes way less energy than the larger LED bulbs I was using (the ones that got broke by renegade chickens)โฆ Highly recommend this light. Glad I bought it. Oh and bear in mind, I usually only do reviews on stuff I donโt like, I rarely remember to take the time to post the positive ones.

Great item, but make sure you have a backup plan just in case
Light is bright and sticks to surfaces well. Cords are nice and long making it easy to connect to a power source. Controls are easy to figure out. Overall, a great product. However, of the 2 I ordered, I've already had one stop working 4 months after receiving, which is outside of the return window. I've troubleshooted all issues and it just failed to function.

Works great but...
Works great and very easy to install. And love being able to set multiple times for the light to turn on and off. Right now, it comes on at 6 am until 8 am. Then turns back on from 4-9 pm. My only disappointment is it is not near as bright as I thought it would be. The description says, "Super bright, high efficiency, high output LED light" -- well, it's not "super bright." It's more like "barely there". I had previously installed solar lights that were supposed to be bright, as well, but they were horribly disappointing. I left them in place as it was better than nothing. Decided to go ahead and find one that requires electricity as I assumed it would be brighter. Our chicken coop doesn't have power so I had to run a 100' extension cord in order to use this light. Between both the solar powered light and this light, then it is bright enough. I'd still prefer to have it even brighter - more like a daylight substitute - but it's okay. We only have 3 hens right now, and they had stopped laying mid-October or so. A few weeks ago, about 2 weeks after I installed this light, they started laying again. Overall, if you want a bright light (as in nearly a daylight substitute), look elsewhere. If a timer is of importance, that is the best feature of this coop light. Easy to program and, so far, very reliable.

Great product
The laylight was easy to install and program. I programmed mine to turn on from 6-8 am and again from 5-9 pm. It has been operating exactly as programmed. If you have questions customer service responds quickly. I would order again.

Chicken coop light
I would not recommend this light for chicken coop. It was hard to install and directions were hard to follow. Ordered 2 and was able to use 1 but definitely would not order again.
