I love it and I use it every morning for a big XXL cup of cappuchino. I'm sort of a cappuchino addict and I really need a BIG cup to boot my brain up in the morning and to get my day started. Unlike most other large cups which are too tall, this one perfectly works with my Esspresso machine as it still fits under the steam wand and even under the coffee spout of the machine. I got it in black with white dots, and I really like the design. I might even get annother one, as mine already has a little battle scar on the rim, resulting from me accidentally dropping a little peppermill on it from a shelf above, when I grabbed something. But it's just a tiny little chip that broke off on the rim and the cup held up otherwise. The spot where this little chip came off is smooth and the cup didn't crack, so that's really good and it does say something about the good quality of the piece.

Perfect. Love everything about it. Perfect color, adorable polka-dots. Perfect fit in my hands with a perfect amount of coffee or tea. I adore that I can microwave it and it not be too hot to hold or burn my lips even when the liquid is thoroughly heated. I've had other glazed ceramics that were impossible to microwave due to that as if the glaze used was just holding too much heat. 🤷‍♀️ IDK if that's a real thing though. LOL I'm so glad this was on sale. I hope more matching pieces are eventually discounted too so I can buy more. I bought this and a lidded canister as a reward for myself and am just thrilled with my purchases. I'm eyeing the teapot to go with them next. <3

Bought bowl to replace one my daughter likes eating cereal in that broke. Just what looking for but just a little bit pricey

Actually, I'll be using this outsize mug/bowl for soups, chili, and other comfort foods. It's very pretty and cozy and complements another blue-green handled bowl that my husband and I fight over. I wanted one just this size and shape with a curve that allows a soup spoon to fit inside and lift out chunky ingredients; a bonus is that it's a bit lighter to hold than I was anticipating so I'm relinquishing the original, slightly heavier one to my husband--although he, strangely, is eyeing the polka dots with a predatory look (I think it's because it appears, side by side with the other, to hold a little more, though a measuring cup test I conducted proves they hold the same). Wish it were less expensive--we're prone to breakage--but the fact that it's handmade and not churned out in China explains the price. p.s. You'll not be surprised to learn, if you read the above, that my husband made two chips in this beautiful mug. I tried to order another, this time charging it to his credit card (consequences), and was saddened to see it was unavailable. Then the other night I randomly clicked on it and saw that one, and only one, was being offered for sale. Maybe it was sent to me courtesy of the mug gods. It's now sitting on a shelf above the original, which my husband says he's fine about using--a good thing since he's forbidden to use, touch, or wash this new one. Mine!
