Excellent piece of engineering - very well made - I expect to leave this tool to a deserving son in law in my will, that's how great it is.Sadly, it's a wee too small. The largest cigar it can safely snip would be a 45 gauge. I would like the manufacturer to make one with a larger cutter.Thanks!

As far as cigars, I feel this so-called cutter is worthless. It's blades are dull, the handles are too short to achieve the proper torque. I haven't tried it yet on small ring-size sticks, but I don't smoke small sticks. I'll stick with the guillotine cutters, or the V-punches, or the rough punches. ----My opinion.

These are awesome for those times when you can't finish a cigar. Cut off the burnt end of the cigar, blow though it to clear any smoke still trapped inside, and finish your cigar later. Love it!
