REVLON Kiss Cushion Lip Tint Lipstick, Pretty Kiss

I admit that I only purchased this as an impulse buy, because I needed to add a few more dollars to my purchase to qualify for a better price on the items I wanted. I rarely wear lipstick, and when I do I don't wear it well. I have tried so many types over the years and I have never been a fan of any of them. I am constantly drinking water and I am too busy or lazy to reapply, so I usually look disheveled quickly. The long lasting lipsticks are sticky and drying. I am surprised to say that I really dig this product. It goes on easily with the sponge-tipped pad. It isn't super pigmented or thick. It went on easily and felt like a moisturizing balm. I waited for it to dry and set but it never did. It just set. The moisturizing feeling wore off after a while, but the color stayed for far longer than I expected and didn't dry out my lips. With other lipsticks I notice that they wear off in a very unflattering way, and flake off or wear off unevenly. This stuff even looks good when it's wearing off. It's weird, but it wears off so slowly and evenly that it's barely noticeable. I did not choose a dark color so it may differ. Overall I really like this. I gave it five stars for flavor only because there is no N/A button. It doesn't taste like anything, so I guess that's good.

I love the color! Being 77 yrs old, I’m not used to a ‘cushion applicator tip’, it just seems weird to me. It is hard to get it to come out at first, but maybe because I’m used to a regular tube of lipstick that you just roll over your lips. Maybe because it’s a ‘tint’. I don’t notice a scent or a taste to it. If you like the ‘stain’ type lipstick, you’ll probably like this one. I prefer more of a gloss lipstick, so prob won’t get this again, but again, I do like the color. Wish it were in a glossy lipstick.

I thought I got an empty tube but ends up the packaging mechanics is not very well designed. I twisted and twisted and then it stopped, nothing came out. The trick is (when it stops and seems like there’s nothing) to twist it a little bit back in the opposite direction for it to un-stop, and then twist back in the correct direction to get it back to twisting again. You might have to do it back and forth like 4 or 5 times like I did (while pushing the foam tip) but the color eventually came out! But once the color arrives, it works. Terrible design but the lip stain itself I like: I like that this was a sheer pop of natural looking pink for the days when I want to not wear full makeup but have a flush of something natural so I look alive. Goes on a lil bit oily (which I like because its moisturizing and I have dry lips) and then pat off any shine for a nice moisturized pink stain. It lasted through my lunch fine without any touch up and stayed on for the rest of the day great. Good for wearing with masks.

I at first thought I would have to return this because no color was coming but in exploring it I discovered that you have to wind it the tip of it and then the color comes to the tip I really like it it's smooth it looks nice it's affordable! I'll be getting more in different shades.

I like to buy lip stain then wear a very light slick/moisturizing wet look like Nivea. I used to buy cover girl lip stain or elf lip stain and that worked amazing and lasted forever to actually stain your lips before putting on the Nivea moisturizing over the lip stain. I took a chance on this hoping it would stain my lips even a little but this really does not. It is a little wet feeling when you put it on but it dries out quickly and the color does not stain your lips. I am going to go back to searching for the cover girl or elf lip stain again as this does not stain your lips like I want it to. Also the number of times you have to twist the top in order for the sponge to get moist enough to apply enough color...I feel this is probably not going to last very long. It's not like the cover girl or elf lip stains where they're actually more like a wet eyeliner pen where the tip is pointed and you can literally draw it on almost like liner at the very edges of your lips. This does not work like that it's a sponge you have to push against your lips to get the color to come out of this sponge. For me this just doesn't work. As far as color, the color is lighter than what the container shows.

I’ve had horribly chapped lips for as long as I can recall. Lipsticks either aggravate their case, give me the “raspberries lips” or faint right away. I’ve looooved this one since the first one I bought years ago: once the ink is out and spread onto the soft tip, the application is the smoothest, silkiest feeling I’ve ever experienced. The color is vibrant and never overlays and gives that pasty look. You can either go with one coat and have it look subtle, or can apply multiple times and have it look like an actual lipstick. The best part: either you eat, drink and live your life mindlessly, it stays throughout the day and never looks like you need to reapply a layer on the inner lip part. It simply gradually fades away, or can be complimented by a transparent gloss. Once off, my lips feel soft and not stressed. It’s as easy to apply as to remove. I take it everywhere, because it’s compact, adjustable and actually a pleasure to use. Have been buying it for years and will continue doing so! Little tip: make sure to put the cap back firmly, they tend to disappear…

Wouldn’t recommend it While it’s pretty and seems like a great idea, it isn’t It took so much of the colored liquid to be able to get the top saturated , it ran out quickly The color didn’t stay on long at all. There isn’t any taste at all. If you get enough liquid to saturate the top, it goes on smoothly. It’s not sticky in anyway. Plumping, I give it a “0”. Coverage of my lips was good, but did NOT last. There is no fragrance at all. It’s supposed to be a great staining lip color. It’s anything but. I dont think anyone would like it , nor do I think anyone would be glad they purchased it I was very disappointed

I was surprised how moisturising this lip stain is. My lips are very dry but this does not dry them out anymore. I do put a further coat of lip moisturiser on top later on and the colour stays until I have eaten at lunch. The colour is just right too, you can put more on to get a deeper colour or just a bit to give a hint of colour. I am impressed with this lip tint and will buy more. When you first open it you do have to turn and click it quite a few times to get the tint to come out. But then it comes out OK after that. Love it and use it every day.

As pictured and described. Great item in a lovely subtle colour. I’ve ordered a few different colours from this seller and would recommend and would buy from them again.
