The leash is a shorter length leash intended for small dogs. The material and construction however is sturdy enough for a mid size dog. It's bright and reflective to keep you visible at night, and has a small D-ring at the top to attach doggie bag roll containers or other things to. The clip is a small locking carabiner wish gives an extra wide opening in case you have a wide ring you need to attach it to.The carabiner clip was one of the things that drew me to this, one of the harness for my Chihuahua requires the clip to hold two D-rings at the same time and the tiny version of a normal clip couldn't do it. Additionally I liked that the leash length was reasonable, instead of some tiny dog leashes that are almost 12 feet long, so you don't have to worry about it dragging on the ground. Also it's thick and sturdy with a reflective bright color and an extra comfortable handle. I usually hold the leash with two fingers in the loop since my dog is so small, and that can dig into your fingers if they get determined to go somewhere. The reflective cookie is good at night since a small dog can be hard to see.The construction of this is good quality, and despite being a wide and heavy duty strap it's not heavy at all. The carabiner is very light and good quality, and the locking mechanism is smooth and durable. Like most leashes, it attaches the clip to the strap with a 360° swivel that is always the weak point if you have a larger dog (40ish lbs) that pulls, but even that is constructed more sturdily than most on this leash.

I had to stop using it with my dog's harness because the leash has come apart from my pup's harness three times. Thankfully, I have been able to catch him and nothing bad has happened. Even with the hook in the locked position, it will twist and detach. It is a very sturdy, pretty, reflective and comfortable to hold leash but I am so disappointed that it won't stay on the harness' D ring. I use it on his regular collar but never again on the harness.

This is probably the strongest leash I've ever bought. And I have A LOT. The shorter length is really necessary for stronger dogs. However, I have really come to prefer multiple handles. At least another one nearer to the clasp. This doesn't have that.This clasp is very good. But as with all clasps, PEOPLE PLEASE ALWAYS THREAD AN EXTRA CARABINER THROUGH YOUR DOGS COLLAR AND THE HOOK THAT ATTACHES TO THE FABRIC ON THE LEASH. Don't just follow them one after another. That is just doubling your risk rather than halfing it by doing what I said.

We love this leash!! Our pit bull mix chewed through her last leash we bought her, so we decided to try this one out. I was initially impressed with how cushioned the handle itself is, which makes it really easy to hold on to! The stretch of the leash isn’t too much, I’m never worried that it’s going to snap. She has already chewed on it and the product stayed looking brand new!! We love this leash.

If it reflects you won't know unless you get a driver to drive toward you at night so they can report what they see although you can see the reflective fabric woven through it up close. I just hope its efficiency is significant since my dog walks to my left, I cross the leash across the front of my legs and hold it in both hands. It's plenty long for us since my girl heels closely. The safety clasp takes a bit of getting used to but is sturdy. Even if the leash didn't reflect car lights it's still well made and stitched. The padded handle is a very nice feature with old hands. The only reason I disnt give it 5 stars is because I expected to see more reflective material woven in. It's only 2 of the 7 rows of stitching.

This is the best leash I have ever bought!Length!I have a small-medium size Pomeranian and leashes were always too long and I had to roll it on my hand because they would end up on the floor! This one is a perfect length leash.Very durable!I was skeptical of buying thin leash for my dog but this one is super durable. The material is very durable and it is well stitched through all leash.RECOMMEND 100%

This is a great leash. It's highly reflective and has a locking mechanism. However, the user must be catious and ensure the opening of the latch is facing downward because the locking mechanism is flawed. If it is upwards then, your leash can accidentally unhook and cause it to detach from leadh or harness. This happened to me but, fortunately I was able to dive and catch my dog before my little pal ran into the street.

I love this leash!! They’re just perfect size for the hands. We bought one a few months ago for our 22 lbs dog. They're durable so far. And what I LOVE MOST is the hook as a little lock!!!!!We just got a 2nd leash for our 2nd dog. We love this product so much. Highly recommended.

this leash is amazing! originally received the one without the locking carabiner by mistake, amazon was quick to accept return and re-order but we liked it so much we kept the mistake for non pulling smaller dog and paid for it while waiting for the locking carabiner replacement leash to arrive, the locking carabiner is piece of mind knowing it won't come undone no matter which way it's pulled unlike regular clips on most leashes, well made and heavy duty material leash with a highly reflective strip for night walking... highly recommend!

It's a beautiful leash and it feels study.But the latch is not secure. I've had the leash for less than a week and I've been using it in the locked position and the leash has come unhooked from my puppy 3 times. It's too risky to use, and risk losing my puppy.

If you have a heavy dog who pulls and lunges, or if you like to keep your dog at heel, this is the leash for you. Very comfortable to hold and the swivel makes it hard for him to get twisted up. The length is perfect for keeping a rambunctious dog close and hand and out of trouble. Extremely sturdy, my puppy has not yet chewed through it despite considerably effort.

I like the padded handle and the D ring that I can clip my keys and poop bags to. I bought it for the locking carabiner, which works pretty well but needs to be checked every once in a while to make sure it hasn’t come unlocked. The “lock” slides on to keep the carabiner from unclipping, but sometimes it rattles around and slides back to the unlocked position. Other than that it’s great and is one of my favourite leashes that I own.

Excellent leash. Sturdy. Stylish. Light. Comfy handle.I searched a lot before coming across this leash. So happy I did. I got both the medium and small size. Although both worked well for my 9 lb pup, the small is the perfect size because the clasp is smaller and lighter.
