Lighter, Electric Lighter USB Rechargeable Dual Arc Lighter Windproof Flameless Plasma Lighter (Black)

I consider myself a pretty Savvy individual and experienced with mechanical and technological gadgets so with this in mind minus the fact the unit is brand new in my hands received today I have to say the build quality is exceptional and product functions exactly how I would want it to function. The high gloss finish attracts fingerprints like a magnet. The Tesla Arc of electricity performs fabulously well when I blow on it. Takes extremely high wind to blow it out. Much more wind than would ever accommodate smoking a cigarette in the first place. I could easily see this functioning perfectly well in the wind or rain (while fishing) where butane lighters would fail. Comes with a short charging cable and a very convenient microbrush to keep the ash and soot build-up away from electrodes. The size of the lighter is perfect for my pocket and not too big. I noticed the flame will only light for approximately 7~8 Seconds continuously. You can repeat that process three or four times before you notice the body of the lighter heating up in your hand. This is usually a sign of time to quit using the lighter. Just placed the lighter on its first USB charge. I'll add to this review if anything major changes.Update : Day 2Ran the lighter out last night. Played with it until the batteries went dead. Unit continue to function on dead battery but only for short bursts of ignition. Good to know it won't quit on you when batteries are drained. Place the unit on charger with included micro USB cable adapter. Blue colored button light stayed on while charging then turned off when charging complete. Lit my first cigarette today and I must say it was amazingly convenient. Onwards to day two.Update : Day 3 and 410 cigarettes, fishing and windy. Found myself covering the area where there would usually be a flame out of habit. Unit continues to function flawlessly without any need for charging.Update : Day 5Still no charging necessary.Left the lighter outside on covered front porch in 32 degrees. Next morning the battery was acting drained but continued to light up if only for short bursts. Went back to normal after keeping in my pants pocket for a bit.Update : Day 10First charge finally gave out. Still functions in a limited /low battery capacity.Update: 10.04.2019Many months later. Finish wearing great. Lighter lid, batteries, ignition spark, led, Everything works great. Holds a charge just like new. GREAT BUY!Update: 12.30.2019Eight months, many charges, no failures and going strong. Mechanically sound. Leds good. Unit wears nicely over time. Noticed electrodes wearing out. See pics.

Received order promptly and it was packed very well. The lighter itself is very light and compact. It works extremely well especially in New England where we have our fair share of strong winds!!It comes within it's own durable box with the charging cord. I suggest charging completely before first use.Have used for a little over a week. Haven't had to recharge it yet. Nice strong arc and well worth it for the minimal price. I'd definitely recommend it.

Worked great until I had to charge it. Item came fully charged. Charge held for a while (Couple months, light to moderate use). Went to recharge it and to my surprise, the micro usb connector was dislodged. Opened the item up and the piece just fell off. Must have shipped broken. Unable to charge. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This lighter is classy & beautiful. I just wished they'd last longer. I'm always charging them cause it doesn't hold much charge.

Initially I got about 25 lights before it stopped working and signaled it needed to be recharged. Thought it might not of been fully charged upon receipt. Recharged it and only got 10-12 lights before it went dead again and indicated it needed recharging.

Worked great,but now only has one stream instead of two so it's very hard to light a cigarette or light anything for that matter I believe there was supposed to be a warranty with this but not sure who to contact or how about going in to get it replaced or fixed .

Pros, no fire, works good for certain uses. Cons, the battery doesn’t last very long, and the lid doesn’t open enough to fit this inside the bowl of many pipes. Eh it’s an okay lighter if you’re not going to use it for a semi deep pipe.

This lighter works great. I work in a mental health facility and have to light our patients cigarettes on smoke break. This lighter worked great and had our patients asking me where to get one. My coworkers intend to purchase one as well.
