My foot size is UK 5, my Mother in law wears size 7. The socks adjusted to both of us. In the winters of Shimla this is an excellent product. Soft, variety of colour choices, long length till calves, and comfortably warm. This the third set I bought. Wash care I follow is use of laundary bag in delicate cycle. The material is bound to pill and must be kept in mind while purchasing. But if you are looking for a warm pair of socks for indoor wear that keeps your feet comfortable all day long, you must go for it. For the price paid I won't mind if I have to discard the socks after a year.

I was initially skeptical about the "free size" claim, especially since I bought these socks for both my mum and myself—and we have a two-size difference in shoes. Surprisingly, they fit both of us comfortably! They're especially useful for my mum when she wants to wear sandals, as the design accommodates the gap between the big toe and the others nicely. After several washes, there are some signs of wear, but nothing unexpected. Overall, a solid purchase for the price!
