I have 6 touch lamps around the house and I’ve had them for nearly 20 years. In the past couple of years, each one has failed. I’ve tried different replacement parts as I’ve needed to replaced them. This part was the easiest to install because the wiring diagram was clear about what each lead was for. That’s the good news. The bad news and where it really matters is this part failed after 3 months.

This seemed cheaply made out of the box but gave it a go anyway- 98% sure I didn't mess up the wiring but, that didn't stop it from frying itself. -Got another unit that came with its own wire nuts and matched my old MT-1001 perfectly. The old touch lamp is running perfectly now.

I have installed these before and haven’t had much of a problem. However, as simple as it looks, I couldnt get it to work. There were no directions and I was left to try to work it out myself!

after using it for just one month it has broken.the light can Be turned on but it can’t be turned off can you send me a replacement ?

I purchased three of these for lights that had gone bad. They were either the wrong kind or just plane bad products. They all three blew out as soon as the light was plugged in. Not satisfied!!

Very easy to replace 15 year old tap switch.Update-sensor died after 6 months. The original lamp sensor lasted 15 years.
