works very good for etching knives. that's what i use it for.

Need to etch multiple different metals
I used the fair chloride for photo etching, German silver, gave a very nice deep edge, nice detail, and I was very satisfied with the results

Works well on brass
Used for a project to etch brass. Worked quite well. Several online videos on how to use it. Make sure to wear gloves. Can be reused but it does lose effectiveness the more you use it. Took about 30-40 minutes to etch the depth that I wanted.

After some use it just stopped working. Maybe I'm the problem. Prab. Will be doing some research.
