EDIT: I WANT TO REVOKE ALL THAT I'VE SAID ABOUT THIS. In the beginning it worked very well as it was fresh out of the box. The only time it reaches 'out of the box' condition again however is immediately after a wash and even then, it only lasts maybe half a day. IF YOU HAVE A SHEDDING DOG LIKE MINE THEN YOU'LL WANT TO HEAR THIS. The hair will get between the cover of the couch regardless of what you do to try and stop it. Since the grippers are rubber, the hair basically nullifies the effectiveness and it slips off easily. I have to fix the cover time and time again EVERY day. Sometimes if its a high energy day, I fix it roughly ten times. My couch is in ruins because of this. THIS ISNT THE COVERS FAULT but if you have a high shedding dog (like a husky), you'll want a strap that fits. Either make one yourself or make sure its the right size before purchase. --------- I believe this is the best I could get for what I was looking for. I have one husky and one pitbull and one leather couch (horrible combination). They're both brats :) she likes to be on higher ground when they play as he's generally stronger than her. So she steals the rope and jumps on the couch and he drags her off of it. Over and over and over again. When she gets spurts of energy where she likes to run the kentucky derby in our living room she will run and jump on the couch, slide across it with enough force that the couch literally moves backward. Imagine the claw marks. The non-slip back actually works. It stands up reasonably well to the skidding, jumping and dragging. With an hour of play its only a bit rumpled and one of the arm flaps slipped down. The strap, although a promising concept, did not fit my couch but also doesn't seem entirely necessary. I also have a couch that is slightly bigger than the recommended size that I bought. Water is getting absorbed (she likes to duck her head in the water bowl and run around dripping all over the house) but some is also just running down off of it. I'm not too worried about that seeing as it says it is machine washable. Also, dog hair sticks to it. Don't expect to be able to just wipe the hair off. Overall very happy.

Very durable - Kid proof & cat proof. Bought the grey. Nice color. Wanted something spill-proof. Three days after putting them on we had a full glass of soda spilled on the sofa and none of it leaked through so the "water-proof" definitely works! They don't slide around easily and tend to stay put well. I didn't even use the strap that comes with the cover. I have a large sectional & bought two covers. Takes a little fidgeting but I can get them to cover all but small section in the back corner. Wish they made one for sectionals. I would recommend them!

I purchased a couple of different couch covers to see which one I liked best and my initial reaction when I opened this one was WOW! There was NO DOUBTING the quality of this one was far better than any of the others I purchased. It was packaged nice, fit the couch nicely covering the arms and front very well AND it even covered most of the back. I just received today so I can not fairly rate the durability, waterproofing or if it is easy to clean. If I could change something or make a suggestion it would be regarding the back and the elastic strap that secures the cover in place. If the elastic piece could be adjustable like the one on the $20 cover I received that would be nice as I do worry a little that this one is so tight that it will leave permanent marks/indentions on the side cushions. As for the back if it could be a little longer so that it covered more of the back that would also be a good thing as one of my couches has its back exposed and with a Shepard, Rottie and Cane Corso dog the more coverage the better! All that being said I would recommend and purchase again.

For the most part, it fit my sofa almost near perfect. The only problem I have, possibly, this product wasn't meant to be, but our sofa is a double reclining sofa, so if the seats are ever adjusted, the cover slips off and/or the elastic band would come apart from the metal clasp. It almost smacked us in the face once, but I was able to kind of bend the clasp together so it just won't come apart, the problem with that is that the elastic band pulls from the corner and I'm concerned it'll come loose again if the band ever tears. Also, when our 60 lb 4-legged baby jumps on the sofa, which is why we got the cover, he has a way of pulling the cover down, so we are ALWAYS having to adjust it so the back is not resting on our heads. Maybe if we had a stationary sofa, possibly it'd work better, but, when I shopped, it was the intent to get something that would work for recliners and this product was suggested. Once I see any signs of strains or tears, I will be trying a different product more suited for recliners.

These sofa covers are really good quality, stays well on the fabric sofa, water resistant(If my son spills his milk or juice, I wipe it down within a minute and it saves it from stains on my sofa). These are great fit and covers my sofa well. They realy look very stylish as well. I haven't yet washed them so cannot say how they will hold up after a quick wash.

The only thing good about these items were that they were waterproof. They slipped down constantly and the loops for the belts that hold the covers on broke writhing the first couple days of use. The material was torn within the first five minutes of the dogs being on the couch. Now without the belts they are a constant pain because all I do is pick them up and fix them. They were dirty on both sides because they don’t stay up and they looked awful after they were washed and took forever to air dry. I would not recommend these nor would I ever purchase them again.

We have a dog and 2 cats and they are all allowed on the furniture. The furniture in the house and rv are all leather so we put a cover on them. I bought this sofa cover for the camper, because it has huge windows behind the sofa and the cats like to lay up there when we are off camping and watch all the animals around us. I have tried several different things, but none of them stay up, as soon as we sit down the top part would come down. What attracted me to this cover was the fact that it has a strap that goes around the back side of the top of the couch to keep it in place. I got the oversized couch one, because it is the largest they have even though the camper sofa is a 5 seat couch. If this works in there I will get another one to match. I have been testing it on the leather sectional we have in the house even though I can't use the strap. I have been very impressed how when I am laying down and moving around that it has not moved even without use of the strap. It has these small grippers all over the back of it and they definitely keep it in place. It comes with a 2 inch wide elastic strap that is adjustable that hooks to the top 2 sides. It also has the flaps for the arms of the sofa. The stitching is very nicely done. I like that it is water resistant because our dog will chew on his chewies while laying on the couch. It is super easy to put on and it is machine washable.

I order and received the navy blue one. I measured my couch as directed and then length of the seat first great. If you have higher (almost level with the back), the arms wont fit that great. They go over but will slip off pretty quick. I wasn't specifically looking for one with the strap in the back and didnt realize how important that part was until I put it on. Sadly the strap lasted 2 days before the loop in the couch seam ripped out. It doesnt exactly stay on my couch very well without it, but in all fairness, I can't imagine any cover staying put with the constant on and off a couch that can happen in a day. . I'm going to try to reconnect the loop to keep the strap in place. Without it, this type of cover wont be worth the hassle. I won't give a bad rating for this but I may edit in the future if we have any more unnecessary wear and tear or failure in waterproof/resistance. UPDATE: THIS THING IS JUNK. Absolute junk. It ripped in several places, it the seams pop. I got the navy blue and and you can see where pedialyte stained it. I ordered one for the chair and they are completely different. I'll be ordering something else. Complete waste of money.
