Awesome leather flat cap ! Label says genuine leather and made in USA🇺🇸 ! if that's actually true this was a remarkable deal True to size, not too big on my 7 1/4 head. Looks well made and the black leather matches my jacket perfectly.

I ordered this hat because it's almost identical to the hats my grandfather wore in the spring when I was a kid. Pop passed away in October of 2012 and I've found myself with a number of his things from over the years-- a cane he made, his old car's license plate, his VCR... Just old things that I keep. I actually use the VCR daily but we're getting off topic. This hat looks a lot like the ones he would wear, usually starting in March, around spring or Easter through early May. And it was only twelve dollars for me so I decided to pick it up and see if I, a 32 year old man, could recreate the look that an 82 year old man produced and I've got to say it looks pretty good. Some people I've seen complain that it's too small, and while I had an issue where when I first put it on the snap button popped open, the hat seems to have stretched out since then and I simply snapped the button back in place and it hasn't popped open on me again. The material it's made out of does seem a little... I don't know, flimsy? But I figure that if I take good care of it, it should be fine. I got one that's a sort of muddled brown color, I like the color a lot and it even has some faux aging on the brim-- at least I hope it's just faux aging. Over all there's nothing terribly wrong with this hat and should suit the purposes of wearing it in cool but not cold weather pretty well. There's a tag inside the hat that says "65% cotton, 35% Terylene," I'm not totally sure what terylene is. Anyway, the real reason I bought this hat is because I miss my grandfather every day and I know he used to wear this kind of hat and it makes me happy that I can put myself closer to him by emulating him in small ways like by wearing a hat that he might have worn. Then again, knowing how all the hipsters are these days, I'm sure a lot of people even younger than me are already wearing these newsboy hats, so I probably won't be alone when I'm walking down the street toting this hat in April. I think I'll go wear it outside right now, as a matter of fact.

Quality of a hat 3 to 4 times this price. Good leather, good color, good fit. Nicely made and very stylish. I expected it to be a bit small so I ordered the xl originally, but that was too big. I returned it for a large and that fit perfectly. Highly recommend the hat.

Does not compare to the quality found in Sterkowski hats. Arrived shipped in a plastic bag, so that the hat was slightly squished and there were squish creases in the leather; had I paid more for it I would be upset. Brim on the inside has a ridge that pokes into the forehead, which is ok so long as the hat is not too tight. Quality is "ok" for the price, but I can tell this is clearly not a Sterkowski hat. Inside hat band was some cheap synthetic material instead of cotton.

This is just a great hat. At first glance out of the box it was a little stiff, but now that I have worn it around for a few days, the leather really has softened up and conformed to my head. It's very comfortable and I was pretty surprised at the quality of the leather cut for how inexpensive the hat was. Overall craftsmanship and fit was better than expected. To those who are thinking about getting the brown color, it is a bit light as others have said, but darkens if it's conditioned with mink oil. The "bill" on the front of the hat comes as stiff as a nail, but can be bent down so that it possesses the curvature most hats in this category have. Made in America? Come on, you just have to give them adequate credit for that. It's nearly impossible to find any clothes made in the States anymore...
