WOW Skin Science Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo & Coconut + Avocado Oil Conditioner Duo 16.9 oz

There are people here who used this once and then threw it away...That is just silly nothing is fixed in a day. I got this a little over a week ago...also because it looked like it could work and after trying so many other types of products that claimed to work. Day 1 - Ehhh it worked ok but I was in a rush getting to work so I didnt leave it in for 5 mins like the bottle says to do a couple of times a week. After using the shampoo my hair felt very dry so happy to be using the conditioner yes it is a coconut and avocado blend and not the apple cider vinegar conditioner but still very nice. Then used the 10 in 1 leave in conditioner and used the hair products that I normally used. I didnt see any difference really Day 2 - 5 used it but 2 days I went without washing it and it actually still looked good the 2nd day...not to greasy and had nice body left in my hair 2 weeks later... LOVE THIS STUFF!!!! My hair has volume - yeah...my flat hair with no volume actually has volume it feels like I have more hair on my head but only being a little over 2 weeks I know this isnt the case but loving it. Every 2 to 3 days I take a little longer in the shower and let the shampoo sit on my head while I shave and wash then put the conditioner in and do my same morning routine. And now the girl who used to wash her hair before leaving the house actually can go 2 to 3 days without washing it. No ... this didnt happen over night and took a week of using it. My Point is...if you're going to spend this much to try a new shampoo set...use it for 2 to 3 weeks before placing judgement on a product. Its actually very good, I didnt think so at first either but Im glad I kept using it. Im just hoping it helps to get my hair growing thicker again...but for that Ill give it another month or two :-) I NEVER do follow ups....I NEVER reorder shampoos online...well just reordered. This stuff is really amazing...not only can I now go 2 - 3 days without washing my hair, it doesnt look nasty inbetween washes. So here it is 3 months later so the stuff lasts pretty good. My hair isnt perfect but it's starting to fill in which is amazing for me. I havent been taking vitamins because I wanted to see how this stuff actually worked. So if you're skeptical give it a try...it cant hurt :-)

I was looking for products that could help with my hair loss and discovered WOW shampoo and cream rinse. Honestly, I thought the name was a bit too much at first and then read many reviews, the ingredients and found myself saying, "Wow" over and over so decided to give it a try. My order came quickly and the packaging was (literally) the best ever. The directions suggested leaving the lathered shampoo on for 5 minutes, which I did. Any other shampoo I would have tried this with would have been dripping down my face and in my eyes but not this one! First "WOW' moment. My thick, curly hair felt very untangled (surprise) when rinsing. Next, the conditioner suggested a full 15 minutes but I didn't have that much time but will indulge myself very soon! The conditioner smells heavenly and I was able to leave it on for a full 5 minutes. My entire life I have plugged the shower drains with my hair loss and always have hair literally wrapped around my fingers during the cream rinse stage. While applying the WOW cream rinse there was NO hair loss. Second WOW. When rinsing, this is usually my big hair loss time but there was hardly any hair at all! Third - 20th WOW... I am in shock. This has NEVER happened. My hair feels fantastic - not at all frizzy and very soft. Next, blow drying took less than half the time it normally does - not sure what THAT was all about but - WOW - ... I'm over the moon at this point. NO hair loss during the drying stage and NO tangling... Seriously wondering where these products have been all of my life! I spent less than half the usual time with my hair and received compliments all day long... WOW. My hair was soft and shiny; healthy feeling and even stayed in place all day. I could run my fingers through my hair without having several fall out. I am WOWED beyond belief and grateful to those who created WOW products! THANK YOU!!!

So, I'll start by saying my hair is normally very frizzy, poufy and wavy. It's hard to manage my hair because it tends to have a mind of its own. It's very thick too which tends to add to the chaos that is my hair. I'm very into natural things though so this apple cider vinegar shampoo and conditioner sounded good to me and of course the commercials make it look like you can have movie star hair using it. I've been using this shampoo/conditioner every time I shampoo/condition which is about every other day for about 2 months now and I am going to buy more. It did not however turn my hair into some soft, luscious silky smooth magic show of hair. I honestly wasn't expecting it too anyway though. It did however do a good enough job to warrant me buying more. My hair is smoother than it was and more manageable. It also feels healthier. Another reason that I had wanted to buy this was to see if it in fact helped with hair shedding because mine sheds like crazy I suppose because I have so much of it. It has helped some with that. I still shed but I can tell a difference. I tried some other shampoo and conditioner before this that you take a quiz about your hair online and they send you your very own specialized shampoo and conditioner. It did little to nothing for me. I am rebuying this because my scalp genuinely feels cleaner and my hair is softer and more manageable although still not movie star hair I can tell a difference. My down sides to this shampoo and conditioner that may stop my use of it at some point would be price versus amount you get in the bottles although this too was better than the previously mentioned other product I tried. The price is a bit steep seeing as how your paying about $30 for two bottles that last only a couple months. Also, I would be running out quicker if I wasn't supplementing with another shampoo product to cut down on how much my hair actually needs in order for me to get a good lather. I will say I do enjoy a rather thick lather though due to the thickness of my hair if I don't have a thick lather it doesn't feel as clean. Also, on a side note, this shampoo does lather fairly well its just my hair requires a lot of shampoo to achieve the lather that I need. The last thing is that the lids on these bottles are not exactly ideal to open in the shower where your fingers are wet. Its doable but also somewhat difficult. It could have a better design is all. Overall though I do enjoy this product! 4 stars!

👣 Before product testing : 👀 I wanted to give this product a try because I heard the hype. Plus I suffer from dandruff so I was convinced that this would be a good one to try. When I test products I go into it with a low expectation. Plus the price is the lowest that I've found. My hair is very oily at the scalp and dry at the ends (almost like hay/straw), And I have lots of dandruff. 🤓 First use: 🧐 You only need a quarter sized dollop of product. The shampoo lathers up lathers extremely nicely. I left my shampoo on for 10 minutes. After the shampoo wash I noticed my hair had deflated like I straightened it. It became a little tangled in the process. Overall after shampooing it felt cleaner than it's felt in a long time. (My scalp didn't seem so itchy). Now time for conditioner I have long nails so I use them to massage my scalp not scratch. I saw that my dandruff was being collected under my finger nails kinda gross. However it's pretty amazing to see all the gunk that's being removed from my scalp. My hair instantly felt smoother after conditioning, and I left it on for 10 minutes 🤔 After using 🤫 My hair air dried and felt cleaner than before. My head wasn't as itchy as it had been before washing. This is going to sound cheesy but WOW was my response. Throughout the day I tested this theory and my hubby noticed I wasn't scratching my head as much. He didn't notice as much dandruff as I had in the past. I am seriously amazed with this product. My split ends do not feel so dried out anymore either. I know I need haircut and you know when us girls need a haircut it gets turned to hay like texture. 🙈 Final verdict: 😍 I'm a happy buyer I will post pictures to show you my results. I will be more than happy to repurchase. I am so happy that I gave this product a solid try. My hair texture has changed for the better !! 🥰 You can even see the texture change in my photos from dandruff and dull to nearly all dandruff gone with shine. Now if this doesn't give you the confirmation that this product works than I don't know what will. I'm one happy customer !!

With all that I have seen about this shampoo I decided to try it. I have used it 4 times. I have long (mid-back), straight hair and I had to use a lot of shampoo to be able to work it to my scalp. Followed the directions and left the shampoo in for about 5 mins. From the ingredients I knew the shampoo would not suds up very much and I am OK with that. I felt that I had to rinse this out of my hair much longer than the Aveda that I usually wash my hair with and I had a snarly mess of hair after washing it. I had to use a lot of conditioner and left that in my hair for about 5 mins. The conditioner rinsed out very nicely. Wrapped my hair in a hair towel. I use a WET brush to brush through my hair and it felt like I hadn't used any conditioner at all! I usually let my hair air dry and I had a hot mess. My hair was bushy, and it didn't feel soft, my hair felt like straw. Next day,I used a heat protectant and I flat ironed it and had to keep going over my hair with that flat iron to straighten it out. The next time I used it I blew dried my hair and that wasn't much better! The last couple of times I used this product I used a leave in conditioner and heat protectant and still wasn't getting the results that I wanted and had to wash my hair after two days when I can usually get 3-4 days before I need to wash my hair. I think this would be a good product to use once or twice a month, but not to use as your main shampoo/conditioner. I will say that I love the scent of the shampoo and wish the condition had the same scent. I will not be buying this product again.

I was actually very happy with my hair before I purchased this shampoo and conditioner. But I saw an article on Yahoo promoting this set and I thought, why not? I suffer from both seborrheic dermatitis and thinning hair along my scalp. I had long used a combination of Nizoral shampoo and pHat 5.5 conditioner - both excellent products that helped with managing my conditions but that I could only really use every 2-3 days. I also used Suave Shampoo/ Conditioner/ Body Wash for my day to day needs. After a lifetime of chronic scaling, I was actually happy with this to manage that condition of mine. BUT, no matter what, I still had some dandruff. When I saw that article and thought, maybe all these people are onto something. The pictures of scalps before and after were really persuasive. I read some of the reviews where people said to read the instructions on the bottle and that the negative reviewers probably didn't follow the directions. Cool. I'll do exactly that. I'm sure it'll be fine. I followed the bottle instructions exactly. I used small amounts of both the shampoo and conditioner to see how my scalp would react. Immediately, I was impressed because the products weren't heavy or sticky. These also smelled better than you'd expect considering the shampoo uses apple cider vinegar. But after my hair dried... Immediately, I was surprised that my hair didn't seem to have any volume. It just kind of flopped down - not like the way it would normally behave with any of my other products. I rarely use pomade in my hair and, given that my hair is already thinning, I decided to go natural to see how it would look in a day or two. In addition, it took on a waviness that it never had before. I actually couldn't comb it fully forward like I normally would be able to. Whereas I could mostly control my hair before, it now became a mass of poofy cowlicks. But I waited to see if my hair's personality would improve. And then the scaling happened. Massive, ugly scales that would normally occur from picking - except that I never pick my scalp. (I know what Winter scaling looks like too - this was much worse.) My hair had also become wavy and actually greasy. These are horrible traits, the likes I hadn't seen since at least my early 20's (I'm current in my 30's). On top of that, my hair now looks thinner than ever. The poofy cowlicks now all bunch together, creating bald patches I never had in my life and which expose the scaling. I spent the past year taking meticulous care of my hair. Having a full head of hair in my 30's, after going through male pattern baldness through my 20's, took years of nerve and resolve to work up. Now because of only one use of this shampoo and conditioner, I get to consider shaving my head in defeat for the first time since 2018. The only constructive thing I can say about these products is that they don't seem to have resulted in any more or less shedding than my usual washes would've created. This is not really a compliment, however, as good shampoos and conditioners are NOT supposed to cause shedding. Currently, I'm hoping this shampoo / conditioner combination runs its course so I can get my hair back to how I remember it and before I had a greasy, scaly, bald mess on my hands. My hair has done better with just WATER. I almost never write negative reviews but for sufferers of thinning hair and seborrheic dermatitis, stay well away from these products. This combination is probably fine for those without my conditions or for someone who already has very straight and thick hair. But for others like me, I couldn't give a stronger recommendation to avoid.

I was definitely skeptical when I first got this product. I'm a religious Matrix and Aphogee user while also incredibly sensitive to many products so trying something new can be worrisome for me. It's been years since I've found anything else that I love but I really needed to find a good clarifying shampoo so after a few weeks of research I finally broke down and ordered this set....and that's one of the best hair care decisions I've ever made. I noticed an improvement immediately. I didn't even have to comb my hair to feel how much lighter and volumized it felt. It's been about 3 weeks since I started using it once a week (I wash my hair about 2 times a week) and I can't imagine going without it anymore. From the first use, the buildup in my hair was visibly reduced and my hair was so volumized I could actually feel it moving every time I moved my head. Combing it...styling it... everything was easier. I have short hair, a cute little bob, that I curl regularly, with bangs...and the volume I experienced from this product actually changed the shape of my cut and finally gave me the shape I normally have to tease into my roots at the top of my head. I always thought that I just have heavy, thick hair but it turns out, I had a lot of buildup and without that I've found that I have thin hair strands but a lot of hair in general. On top of that, my hair growth has improved as well (probably due to healthier scalp conditions) and the bangs that I used to trim once a month now need to be trimmed every couple of weeks! As for hair loss... I have noticed that I am loosing more hair during my showers than I used too. Before this product I'd loose about 5 strands of hair and I never find it iny brush or combs. Now I loose 10-15 strands and occasionally find it trailing over my clothes, but I think that might be due to me being able to wash it less. I used to have to wash my hair every other day and sometimes every day if I needed hairspray or styling products because my scalp would get oily quickly. Since I've started using this product I only have to wash my hair every 3 days and I don't need all the products I used to use to style it. I will continue to reorder this product as long as the quality of it remains at the standard that it has currently set and the price remains as reasonable as it is!

I've been using this paired product for over four years now and I absolutely love it. The one-two punch of the shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair feeling strong and smooth.

I like this shampoo and conditioner. I have fine hair, so found this product great as it cleans my scalp really well without making it too dry or too heavy with the oils that some other shampoos contain. After using these products my hair feels clean and not weighted down at all. The conditioner makes it super easy to brush through my hair. It lasts quite long time as it’s a large 500ml bottle.

This shampoo and conditioner cleansed my scalp, gave body to more hair and made my hair feel amazing.

I was sooooo excited to use it - after 4 washes i have soooooooooo much HAIR LOSS occurring that im scared af. all day long when i touch my hair 20-30 end up in my hand. when i shower or brush them a fat hair ball forms. DONT BUY IT !! I WANT MY MONEY BACK !!! TOTAL FAIL :"(
