Mighty Spiky Cactus Gift Seed Kit. Easy to Grow 5 Bristling Beauties Packed with Personality

I understand people's frustration if the seeds don't germinate, but I think if you wait they probably would still grow. I watered mine every day, and kept them under a cling-film wrap to keep the moisture in. Some germinated early and died off, and some didn't germinate at all, but out of all the seeds, I've now finally got a few baby cactuses that seem to be growing strong. If you want a sure-thing, just buy a grown cactus, but if you want the satisfaction of growing your own, I'd recommend this seed kit for sure.

Bought this for my husband as he seems to be going thru a phase of wanting cactus and doing terrariums etc so I thought he would enjoy growing his own! Within 2 days we had 2 cactus growing! Be patient with the others as we had a different variety start growing about 4 weeks after! Not all the seeds have germinated but it’s been fun doing this! Still holding on just Incase others eventually germinate as I know from other reviews that over a month later some started to show!

It is alright so far, have had it for a week but hasn’t shown any growth but we will see. Packaging is a box with a plastic wrap around it (good if your trying to be as eco friendly as possible). You get lots of seeds, would have had 12 cups if my dog didn’t eat one lol. I think this would be a very good starter.

I bought this for a friend at Christmas, but turns her family bet me to it, so decided to grow these myself. Oddly, mine also came with a packet of Sun Flower Seeds. No idea why, but i had some spare compost kicking around so decided to plant them anyway along all the rest. Week 1: Nothing Week 2: 2 of the 8 Sun Flowers broke through Week 3: Nothing Week 4: Nothing Now in week 5, no signs of life from any of the other seeds. So unless these are all slow starters, which I doubt considering 2 of 8 sun flower seeds germinated. Thats a 0% success rate on the cacti, and 25% success on sunflower seeds. Will keep it going a bit longer on the slim chance anything thing changes, but yeah. As far as growing a cactus goes, complete waste of time and money.

I've bought this grow kit for my mothers 60th birthday, she is really into flowers and gardening stuff. The kit overall is great there is almost everything that you need to grow your cactus. The issue I ran into was that I am a very busy person and I left the parcel aside until the mothers birthday, I had no time to check it out before I had to leave. My disappointment was that everything in that box was just a mess.. I was expecting it to be packed as a gift as it was mentioned. If you trying to get it for someones birthday or as a gift don't for personal use its ok but still could be more effort put in there for that amount of money.

Really happy with this product. Instructions are clear and simple, making the planting process easy. Some of the seeds are very small, so I had to use tweezers to plant some of them. So far, I have 2 cacti that are growing, but there were so many seeds provided, I kept some back and will attempt a second 'batch'. I planted three seeds in each pot (so 36 seeds in total), and perhaps have another 30 or so seeds that I will use for my second try.

Bought this as a birthday present for my father. Packaging was lovely and everything you need was included. Problems is...it’s been almost 6 weeks now since they were planted and nothing has grown from them even though the Information leaflet says you will start to see growth spurts in 2 weeks...
