It not pure cotton, it's mix cotton

Colour comes off
Very bad product. Colour cones off even after 10 washes. You cannot use wasging machine to wash this. I have been doing hand wash only. If thw dhothi is wet, it passes the colour to othwr clothes. I lost two shirts because of this filthy product.

buyer beware that this is a 1/2 dhoti compared to traditional dhotis. Its more of a lungi masqurading as a dhoti. So dissapointed as I waited for quite a while for it to arrive from India. If you wear dhoti traditional style then this will not work. Never knew till now that they make dhotis in different sizes.
