Great Ideas for Christmas Gifts & Ornaments
I bought this book a while back and have referred to in making Christmas gifts and ornaments. I has been very helpful and given me many great ideas.

Pretty good book overall
This was a nice bood with good illistrations. There was a nice selection of ornaments to look at in the gallery at the end of the book. However, I was a bit dissapointed that the most of the instructions were for miniature bird house ornaments of various designs but, using very similar techniques with minor variations. (10 bird houses and 2 other ornament styles) It woud have been nice to have demonstrated a wider variety of ornament styles like a basic globe ornament, some of the more ornate globe ornaments in the gallery, an inside out ornament, and a snowman would be just a few possibilities.

Excellent book for the wood turner. Can't wait to start making these christmas ornaments for family and to sell. Great illustrations and easy to read directions.

Clever & unique projects!
I have enjoyed reading and looking at the great photos in this book. The tips and instructions are easy to follow and will continue helping me improve my woodworking abilties. The projects in the book have given me several additional ideas to keep me busy for a long time. Having some fun gifts on hand for special occasions will no longer be a problem!

Christmas Presents
This book is the only one of its kind I know of. Including the shipping, it was less expensive than the local book stores. The content is great. Many plans are fully illustrated and lead to ideas of your own. The ornaments make great Christmas presents. Well worth the price.

Note: sorry to hear that the author of this book has passed away he will be missed by many in the wood turners circle. The was planned out very well with a lot information for anyone to turn there Christmas ornaments. Or gave turners ideas of there own to try. Great book, worth getting and keeping.
