I don't want to 'Jinx' myself as my last water infection was Nov 2020, they where happening around every 3 months, I'm now in April 2021 and haven't had a flare up since. Like a lot of people in these reviews, I was getting annoyed with myself and the fact that I had to ring up the doctors every time to get Anti Biotics as that was the only method to get rid of mine. I was doing everything right, drinking plenty fluids, being careful when washing down there and only using femfresh. They seem to occur after intercourse, even though I would immediately pee and clean up afterwards. Realising that I might be becoming immune to the only anti biotic that actually works for me I looked up natural methods and discovered D-Mannose. I bought them in Nov and take 3 a day. My new routine seems to be wee before bed (doctor told me to wee before and after!), if intercourse happens, I try not to let touching happen around my urethra because i'm convinced I have a very sensitive urethra and I don't want to chance any bacteria getting up there! I wee immediately after intercourse, and wash down in the shower being careful not to put any bacteria near my urethra (think when you wipe front to back same kind of idea). I then take 3 additional D-Mannose tablets or powder if you're feeling twitchy and you're looking for a quick fix. I also take a Bio-Kult Pro-Cyan Tablet with Cranberry extract after intercourse. The following days when a UTI could potentially appear I take the tablets again in the morning whenever I get that twitchy feeling. I also take them in the days leading up so that my bladder is healthy. Sorry if this review is too much info but I've picked up these tips from other reviews I read on here and it seems to be the only way to fight them! hope my review helps, please consider buying them - they've helped me massively.

Everyone is different, but for me I think that daily use of these tablets may help me to avoid getting cystitis as frequently, but if I do get it, they don't take cystitis away. They are just another part of the defence mechanism a woman can employ to try to avoid getting cystitis in the first place. The idea is that D - Mannose sits in the bladder in solution with your urine and attracts the E Coli bugs that may otherwise multiply into full blown cystitis. When you go to the loo, you pee out the Mannose molecules, with the E Coli still attached. Worth a go and relatively harmless (possible slight weight increase). Your purse may suffer, though! I have tried every possible precaution to avoid cystitis - for me, a daily dose of these tablets, plus 2 antibiotic tablets immediately after sex (as recommended by my GP) is the only thing that knocks cystitis completely on the head.

Bought based on reviews to clear a persistent UTI that didn’t clear up after a 3 day course of Nitrofurantoin antibiotics. The whole procedure of getting those due to their concerns about antibiotic resistance was a nightmare so I wanted a quick and natural alternative. Took these 2 days after finishing the antibiotics as I still had that feeling. Took 3 x 3 tablets day 1, 3 x 2 tablets day 2 and 3 and will take 3 x 1 tablet for a few more days to be sure. These have actually worked!!!! Still had a niggle on the first 2 days taking them but no severe pain or bleeding! In future when I feel that twinge I will take the higher dose straight away. I have got a cheaper/lower dose brand for maintenance - to take the one morning/evening and will use this higher dose and brand for if/when I get a future episode. Recommend to my daughters for Download festival to help keep them clean and healthy. I had D-Mannose years ago from a local health shop and they didn’t do diddly squit, probably because the dose was 500mg and the bottle said to take one a day. Whereas on the first day taking these you have 9 x 1000mg and the bugs got no chance!!! 😜

I was really skeptical about these as I've tried D Mannose in powder form and it didn't work but I am pleasantly surprised by these. These worked to get rid of a persistent UTI that antibiotics could not resolve. I was getting sick of going back to my GP for antibiotics for several rounds of antibiotics several times a year and was at the end of my tether. These are high strength and unlike powder its easy to measure your dosage properly. These are large tablets so if you struggle to swallow pills I'd suggest breaking them in half. For me, thats not an issue. I started with a high dosage initially (9 daily) since I was treating an active infection and tapered down over several days and weeks to just 1 or 2 daily. They cleared up symptoms in less than 24 hours and I was UTI free and able to come off them altogether in about 6 weeks. I will keep these handy for the next flare up or to be used as a preventative before known triggers and wouldn't ever consider using antibiotics for UTI again.

I had recurring kidney infections and my GP would prescribe me antibiotics. I wanted to find an alternative to using antibiotics as I would get a lot of side effect. Since using this product I no longer have throbing pains from my kidneys. I also had a look into the NICE (national institute for health and clinical excellence) on D-mannose and I read that it was equally as preventative as antibiotics. So this is not a cure but could be used as a preventative to UTI/ Kidney infections. The pills are a bit on the larger side so if you have trouble swallowing pills I do not recommend this. I plan to use this product for the next 6 months. So far I've had no kidney infection since taking the product, which is amazing as I've have had 4 kidney infections in less than a year. So this is doing an amazing job for me and my body.
