What a simple yet extremely effective product to add security to sliding patio doors. Good quality , easy to install and use

Does exactly what it says. Easy to install. Came with a lock. Nice equipment. Value for money

I've headed this easy to install because it is, but I was confused by which bit sat where and have just noticed that I have put it on upside down and put the padlock on the end bit rather than on the slider piece. I thought it not as secure as the other type that I bought and now realise why. Easily corrected but a guide would be useful. I would buy again as it fits rounded and shaped handles better than the other type.

Previous to buying this unit I was using a bicycle D lock and whilst it did the job it didn't exactly look great and I didn't have control of tightening it. With this unit you get complete control over how wide you want the opening of the door to be. It does exactly what it says on the tin and it looks great. The unit does come with a lock which helps to keep the position in place, whilst this lock it comes with is fine I decided to buy an Abus lock just to beef up the security slightly more. If someone is able to pick your lock from the outside this unit will halt the doors from opening at all. A great purchase if you need the security.

Thought it might look bulky but really pleased it isn’t as big as it looks in the picture. Seems very strong and sturdy , recommend highly

Product as described, and delivery is very prompt. The product is made of heavy metal, and that it is an obvious visual deterrent also reassures me that my patio doors will be less vulnerable. I have ordered 4 of these in total now (1 for each of my sets of patio doors), and I think they’re definitely worth buying.
