Women's Off Shoulder Sequin Empire Waist Prom Gown

It was literally my dream dress! The sequins fell off a little, but it really wasn't an issue because there were so many of them that the dress still stayed completely sparkly. The lace-up back allows for a perfect fit, though I hemmed the dress to my height because it was a teeny bit too long when it came (I'm 5'4 & ordered a size Small; it was probably about 5'8 long). My only concern is that the top breast/sleeve part smelled actually quite strongly of old fish when it first arrived. It took around a week or so of airing it our & spraying it with perfume for the smell to fade. So make sure you buy with lots of time to spare just in case! Anyways, it was an absolutely amazing dress, and I 100% recommend it to anyone who wants to be the belle of the ball!

This is a long overdue review. This was my second dress at my wedding in 2018, so basically my reception dress. My bridesmaids got dresses made for the wedding. And I wanted to find a dress that was close to their dresses. Were shocked to find it on Amazon. But I looked gorgeous. The dress was everything. It felt good and it looked good.

Definitely use their measurements to find the right fit for you. I’m 5’10 and typically wear a 16 women’s pants and 1x-2x tops. It’s definitely the right length for me, I ordered a size 20 and it fits perfectly. Can be adjusted a little bit because of the lacing on the back. I have fat arms in my opinion and that wasn’t even a issue. It’s a beautiful dress, I recommend adding a petticoat under neither but not hoops cause it shows hoop lines, also recommend spanx, tried it on the first time and you can see your panty lines on your hips. I ordered the rose gold and it’s really really pretty! Definitely worth the money. Just be careful opening the package when it arrives, they literally shove it into the smallest bag and tape every inch of it closed, think turkey, do not cut it open or you’ll be slicing your dress. It took me 20 minutes to get it out and I almost used a knife not knowing what it was. Took about 10 days to receive so not terrible.

I never got to wear this dress. It was for a wedding that was canceled and I tried to get a refund or get in touch with the seller and never could so I rate a 0 on customer service. The dress itself is beautiful.

Loved the dress. I unfortunately have a very hard body to find the right dress for. I have very little bum and a big stomach, and a average breast area. This dress looked wonderful, got in it OK, but the breast area was too big and the dress was too long. Did not have time for alterations, so made the best of it. Everyone at the event I attended thought it looked fabulous. Hope this helps.

OMG, this dress was perfect. I had a seamtress who flaked on me 4 days before my 40th birthday party and didn't know what to do. I looked on Amazon saw this dress and the dress was shipped to me within 2 days. I ordered my size that I normally wear because I figure if it's too small I'll wear my go to body magic which instantly allow me to be a dress size smaller, but to my surprise I didn't even have to wear my girdle. It was huge and good quality. But I also have a petticoat underneath for a full volume at the bottom. The only thing I had to do was hem the bottom because it was extra long but that only being like 4 inches that I took off because of my height. I actually hemmed it myself. That's why you see the under lining a little shorter than the outer but it was my first time honest. I saw a YouTube video on how to hem without sewing and BAM it was good to go. I added the belt to give it the extra flare which is just trim from Hobby Lobby that I fabric glued on the stitch. I loved it. I will be using this seller in the future.

I had really high expectations for this dress, and I was very disappointed. I had a tailor do my measurements and opted for a custom gown as it appeared I was slightly between sizes. That, and I’m short so I thought (Wrongly) that I could save some money on a hem. I sent my measurements to the seller and they responded promptly. I opted for rush shipping so I could get the dress in time for NYE. I got the dress way faster than I expected. Upon trying it on, I immediately discovered that the torso portion of the dress was waaaaay off. I’m 5’4” and that dress was made for someone who is much taller than me, and it looked terrible. It made me look bigger. Since it was custom and not returnable, I immediately took it to a tailor to try and salvage the situation since NYE is rapidly approaching and I was stuck with the dress. She was able to fix the dress by shortening the torso, but the top was also too big even after tightening the dress as far as it would go. To make matters worse, the dress boning down the front is inside the lining (the tailor was perplexed), and there is no boning whatsoever down the side. This was an issue for me because I have DDs. To fix the dress, I had to pay the tailor $95—almost as much as I paid for the dress which really really made me angry since I paid extra money for the dress to be “custom.” It’s a beautiful dress, but buyer beware, skip the “custom” and just get it tailored yourself if you have to have it. Be prepared for a large tailoring bill. The dress is hardly a bargain when you take all of this into account. I wouldn’t order it if I had a chance to do it over again.

I found the quality of the dress to be beautiful and perfect. It fit very nicely in the top and in the skirt itself however my only drawback is that it is was extremely too long for me. I'm a very short woman 5'1 and the dress was probably cut for someone who is at least 5 ft 5 or 5 ft 6. The color of the dress is spectacular and spot on to the color shown in the picture.
