Aircraft Design: A Conceptual Approach (Aiaa Education) (AIAA Education Series)

This book is well written, and helps develop a strong foundation for understanding how to design an aircraft, as well as why to follow the methods presented in the text. I purchased this after purchasing and reading Dan's "Simplified Aircraft Design for Homebuilders" book. I highly recommend this text to anyone interested in learning how to design an airplane, however, I suggest that they have a mechanical design and or engineering background, or are in the process of attaining education and or experience in those fields to better understand the methods and math presented in the text.

Graduated from aerospace, and this book was recommended to me by a graduate student. I read it religiously like a bible!!! It has all the basic flight calculations that you need, and has a really well-written example as well. Great book to have on the shelf and for quick calculation numbers.

The quality and content of the book is great.
