Eve Hansen Rosehip Oil for Face & Skin – Organic Cold-Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil | Hydrating & Fast-Absorbing Moisturizer | 2oz

I bought it because I was bored at work one day. I purposefully waited for almost a month before writing a review. My son has severe eczema that made his skin itch at all time. Because he scratched and it bled all the time, his toddler skin because leathery and severely dry. I apply as much lotion I could, different ones with no satisfying result. So I came by this product while browsing through Amazon, I have Amazon Prime. I read through it, it says that it's good for nourishing skin and I bought it originally for meself first. When I apply at night after I wash my face (damp skin), I could feel the oil worked its magic right away. Without making my oily skin oily, it nourishes and hydrates my skin and you only need to apply a very small amount (like a tear drop, literally!). I apply in the morning and at night after I wash my face on damp skin, very small amount. Face, neck, and chest. It smelled rather bad, not bad, I would say, like a decaying rose (wilted?) nothing that I couldn't stomach. The smell is mild and right away forgotten about a couple minutes after you apply it. I never smell it on me through out the day, not sure about other people. The oil is reddish in color. So, since it worked on me, I applied it on my son's face and whole body (generous amount) mix with his lotion, and his skin was softer than expected. If I were a stayed home mom, I would have put it on every 4-6 hours on damp skin and I knew it would have been good, but now I could only do it every 12 hours since I work. When I apply, it did make his skin very soft. His face had been excellent and was the softest part of his body with minimal breakout from eczema. I noticed his back was soft when I undress him for shower at night (the only one that didn't get wash/ throughout the day). I gotta ask the supplier if it's ok to mix the oil with lotion and let it sit, would it decrease or change the potency? if it won't, then that's what I'm going to do for my son. Overall, 100% happy with the product and am ordering another one as I wrote this.

I absolutely LOVE Eve Hansen's Rosehip oil!! Great quality at a great price. If you've been spending a fortune on anti aging skin creams like I did... Save your money and get REAL results, all natural with no chemicals. Im going to try Eve Hansen's other oils bc the quality is superior. And for the face, this rosehip oil WILL diminish your wrinkles and heal and renew your skin at the cellular level. It WILL diminish puffiness and dark circles, lighten dark spots, fade scars. I used a very exemsive name brand cream that starts with "Stri" for YEARS. This Rosehip oil is better. And at this price, it's obvious that Eve Hansen isn't hopping on the "all natural" bandwagon and selling products at a ridiculous mark up. They are putting out a great product at a fair price! UPDATE: 4/20/15. I just ordered this product from Eve Hansen for the fourth time! That's how much I love it. I make skin care products and they all contain this Rosehip Oil. I've also purchased Eve Hansen lemon oil and Vitamin C serum. I've purchased many brands of Rosehip oil over the years and this is THE BEST. the same goes for the other Eve Hansen products I've purchased. First of all, when you open the bottles, you can immediately smell how fresh these products are. They are made very well and not lingering in a warehouse for a year somewhere. Rosehip oil is wonderful by itself- it's qualities cannot be understated. You WILL notice a difference in your skin. It promotes healing and regeneration on a cellular level and the better the quality, the better it will work. This product is top of the line!! The Rosehip oil has a light earthy smell and a very nice consistency. It emulsifies very well if you use it to make lotion or any product that contains water. The products I make with it are for myself and also for other people. I require excellent products when making skin care items for others. The truth about how wonderful this Rosehip oil is lies in the fact that I'm on my fourth bottle since January. Like most people out there, I don't want to waste money on something that doesnt work. Eve Hansen's RoseHip oil will not disappoint you and the price for four ounces is fantastic!

This stuff is amazing. Waited to use for a few weeks before writing a review so here goes. Some background - I am a 44yr old mother of a 2.5 year old - crazy, yes. Have always had decent skin i.e. no acne other than the annoying pimple here and there but wouldn't say I have dry skin either. The older I've become though, I feel the redness has increased and my dark circles have gotten darker. ugh. Felt it was time for the big eye cream / face cream investment so started reading and talking to others. Had read about Rosehips - celebrity fav, a few cool blogger gals talked about it - started paying attention. Then talked to my neighbor, she works for a company that supplies skincare/hair care products to large portion of spas / salons in DFW. She had offered in the past but never took her up on it til now. I said, okay, I am ready for the big eye cream purchase. She answers, first of all, not cream, OIL. Who knew? Without boring you more, I read up more on rosehip and decided to take the plunge. Purchased this particular one due to reviews and the "purity" of it. Organic, cold-pressed - just oil please. Over the past few weeks I have patted on my eyes - lid and under - day and night. Emphasize "lightly pat" - I would challenge you to look up a map of the face muscles - you will see the area around the eyes is just skin - no muscle to be massaged or stimulated. Neighbor says just pat, never rub. Yes, we all know that but the visual really hit home. Other than eyes, I will mix a few drops with a good moisturizer and apply to my face / neck / hands / feet - anywhere I feel needs a pick me up. This stuff is awesome. I put some in a small glass roller ball and apply often throughout the day to my cuticles, around my eyes - nice brightening effect as well as moisturizing. Bottom line - to quote neighbor / friend - 90% of what goes on on your face is hereditary, not much you can do to change it. What you can do is keep it moisturized, helps to maintain elasticity. Also, if you look up a guide to those face muscles, massage back and forth across the muscle, as you are moving upward (cheeks) or downward (forehead). I do this every chance I get too. Helps to stimulate collagen and the redness in my face has diminished - the overall tone is more even. I wear such little make-up now, love it! Also, feel like my eyes look years younger. Have never felt this good about the darkness (or lack thereof) below my eyes. Trying not to ramble - sorry - but can't say enough. Lastly, I was approached by a friend to try out this new line of EO's (name omitted due to it being available on Amazon) - only $150 to buy into it and you get something like 12 difft ones (none of which were Rosehips) and each bottle was maybe an ounce? But then say you really like one and want more, it's around $75 to purchase just one. Crazy. I chose to do my homework, find one or two I really wanted to try - rosehips for my skin and peppermint for my diffuser - great for energy and clarity - especially with the winter months coming on. Bottom line, this product has done amazing things for my skin - I just feel healthier. Some skin may not tolerate it as well - in this case, would suggest mixing with jojoba oil - "most like our skin's natural oil" - and you can still reap the benefits. Can't say enough. Thank you. Yes, I'm finally done. :)

I've been using this for about 3 weeks now and it is something that I will definitely keep in my arsenal of anti-aging products. I love that it is all natural and organic and that I'm using something with no chemicals blended into it. Feels good going on and is very moisturizing. Up until now I've only used it at night, after I cleanse, then I slather it on and go to bed. I use it on face and neck. But today for the first time I'm actually wearing it under my make-up. I put it on around 7:00 am and it is now 10:30 am and no greasy feeling or excessive shine like I get with even expensive department store moisturizers. I'm thinking that this will probably replace my night and daytime moisturizer! And save me a lot of money too! Yay! Things I love about this are that it works very well as an anti-aging serum and a daytime moisturizer, it's 100% organic, no added fragrance, large bottle size so I don't run out so often, the price is nice, Eve Hansen sent me an e-mail after I ordered thanking me for my order and giving me info. on when to expect it to arrive, which was a first me ordering anything! I will be re-ordering this and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great product at a great price. Also to anyone who is trying to incorporate more organic products into their lives like I am. :-)

11/28/2015 - First Time Use I bought this because of the reviews about it. Also the seller seems to respond to the customers comments. Also, a friend of mine from Madrid, Spain told me about ROSA MOSQUETA which she said is effective for stretch marks as she has been using it. It's American name is Rosehip Oil so I looked for the famous USDA logo not knowing what really to expect. The Rosa Mosqueta is too small from Aubrey Organics so I chose this one from Eve Hansen. When I received the package, which was very fast shipping by the way, I noticed its orangey color and fishy smell. The fish oil smell is not strong at all. It looks like olive oil in consistency except that the color is not yellow, green, or deep green. I tried it last night on my legs where my skin is cracking because of this horrible cold weather. When I woke up my skin was not flaking. I also tried it on my face and it felt soft. I went to Target in the afternoon and was scared of the 68 degree Fahrenheit sudden warmness outside so I out it on my arms and face. I did not want to smell like a fish so I covered it with my Loccitane Divine Serum to hide the fish oil smell. It blended in well. The smell easily goes away on its own too. I don't know the benefits yet but I will definitely update this review because I think people deserve to know the honest truth about products online and about any beauty enhancing products in general. I have facial scars from my teenage years and only Loccitane made it softer and smoother BUT NOT COMPLETELY. So, if this product is good for scars as many claims, I will definitely update this review. 05/12/2015 The oil works well as a skin moisturizer. My legs are not flaking anymore and the wrinkling has been minimised. The best feature of this product is its being light weight with the fishy smell that easily goes away after you apply it. I also tried it in my lega which haf acarring due to a bed bug bite I got from watching outsoor movies! It was so itchy when it was fresh and the only way for me not to scratch it and make it bleed was to use calamine but it was not wnough since the scratching left it some deep scars of irregular shapes and sizes. Since my skinw as dry and flaky the scar was more obvious. I tried this rosehip oil as a moisturizer for my legs and thought it would minimise the scar when my skin gets moisturised. It did. Now the slight recess on my leg is soft and the skin is now even with the surrounding healthy skin. What I did was put three drops per scar and massaged it in circular motion for about one minute and I repeated it every night before going to bed. I also put it on my face especially with the acne scars but I did not see any difference. I did notice that the lines on the top of my nose in between my eyes looks softer and less noticeable. The cold weather contributes to the deepening of my scars since the skin dries out. And the roaehip oil helped my skin to maintain moisture.

I have heard all great things about rosehip seed oil, but was confused among many different brands to choose from. After researching and reading reviews, I finally ordered several different rosehip seed oil from different brands at Amazon. Eve Hansen is one of the brands I ordered. I was impressed by Eve Hansen's oil. It feels like pure, high quality oil to me. It's golden honey color, without much noticeable scent. It applies and absorbs easily, and skin becomes soft. I have only been using it 10+ days so far. I am looking forward to discovering more benefits Eve Hansen's rosehip oil providing to my skin. I personally went through a battle deciding which brand to go while deciding to purchase rosehip seed oil. And I know how a frank and honest review would help. I would recommend rosehip seed oil from Eve Hansen to people who intend to buy quality oil from a good seller. At last, I have to mention contacting Eve Hansen Beauty (Customer Service) feels like a breeze. They are courteous, friendly, and super fast responding to your emails/questions. In addition, they are professional in knowledge in what they are selling. They answered to all my questions with detail and care. I recommend this seller as well.

I had heard from several sources about the benefits of using rosehip oil on your skin. I finally decided to try. I purchased from Eve Hansen as it was rated no. 1 in Amazon in its category and had the most 5 star reviews so the decision was easy. The product came on time and was well wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in an Amazon box. There were no instructions with the product but I received them in an email from Eve Hansen about 1 day after receiving the shipment. Eve Hansen also sent an email to check with me if I have received the product and if I had any questions about it and then another to request a review. The bottle is a lovely dark amber color, much like what is shown in the photos. It comes with a dropper that is long and easy to use. Rosehip oil does not smell like roses! The smell is a little unpleasent but it quickly dissipitates in the air. I did a patch test on my inner arm the first night just to be sure I would not break out or react adversely. Nothing happened when I woke up. Since then I have been using it every night as part of my bedtime routine - cleanser, toner, rosehip oil, moisturiser. I don't plan on using rosehip oil during the day because of its retinol properties. This is a dry oil and is quickly absorbed by my combination-oily skin. All I am left with is a nice glow. If you have dry skin, expect this to be absorbed really quickly. I use 4 drops for my face and 2 drops for neck and decollete. I have also been using it around my eye area and have not had any adverse reactions. Since a week of using the oil, my skin appears to be calmer and clearer. Not sure if it is because of the oil or my diligence in following my night-time routine. I think the oil needs to be used long term to really see benefits. This is not an overnight cure. So far I like it and will continue to use it. I also plan to buy for my mom and sisters. They have dry skins and will probably get the most benefit from this.

For me, this was just an ok product. Other people. may love it, but I didn't care for the scent at all.
