I love Vandoren reeds, and when I needed some jazz reeds I tried these out. The playability from the box is good, and the value reed you get for the money is great. As any reed, not every one in the box is good, but that’s to be expected. If you’re looking for a good quality reed where each reed in the box plays the same, spent the extra money and get a boston sax shop reed. It’s not that these reeds are bad, but each reed varies from the last.
