Calphalon Nonstick Pizza Pan, 16", Heavy-Gauge Steel, Perforated for Crispy Crust, Silver

This is hands-down the best pizza pan I’ve ever used, and I’ve used quite a few. I have 2 fairly new ones, bought recently, and one that is several years old—-the one that sold me on this product. I’ve made probably 100+ pizzas on the older pan, and it continues to turn out great pies, when other pans in my cabinet (even ones which look almost exactly like the Calphalon) remain unused after a few disappointing bakes. Several reviewers have noted that the pan gets stained, and the stains won’t come off no matter how hard you scrub. Dudes. THIS IS CALLED SEASONING, AND IT’S WHAT YOU WANT TO HAPPEN WITH YOUR PANS! A seasoned pan just gets better and better! This Calphalon pan builds up the best coat of seasoning I’ve ever seen on a pizza pan of this type. If this is how they were designed, hats off to the designer! The color of my older pan is NOTHING like it was, new. It’s the color of a very dark copper penny, almost. STILL PERFECTLY NON-STICK. I’ve NEVER scrubbed this pan, I usually just give it a good rinse under warm-hot water and it’s completely clean! So rejoice when you see the discoloration, guys. It means your pan is on the way to pizza-making perfection. Five stars all the way!

This is an incredible pizza pan! Whether you are making fresh pizza, frozen pizza or reheating pizza and wings this is a fantastic pizza pan. The holes definitely aid in the bottom of the pizza getting a nice crispiness to it so your pizza isn't soft or moist. The only downside is the cheese or grease/oil from the pizza can seep through the holes onto the bottom of your oven. I place our old pizza pan underneath to solve that issue. Overall a great pizza pan and worth the slightly higher price than other pizza pans. I definitely recommend this solid pan. It is very easy to clean and quite sturdy.

It's absolutely what we needed (since we didn't have anything to use for the 16" take & bake pizzas our local grocery store now sells for $6 on Fridays). There were cheaper ones on Amazon but I bought this one because it's Calphalon, which is always of high quality. The pan is very sturdy. Since pizza isn't to be cut while on the pan, when we went to tip it onto a cutting board it slipped off immediately - just by slightly tipping the pan. Because of the holes in the pan, the bottom of the pizza was nice & crispy. Frozen pizzas with instructions to put directly on an oven rack will also cook on this - keeps from having pizza drips in the oven. Because of the holes, it works great for leftovers that have a soggy bottom crust if re-heated any other way: pizza, pies, etc. Put those things directly onto the pan too. (Since you have no cooking time for doing this, keep checking it.) Items smaller than 16", as above, will slide around on the pan (because of the non-stick finish) when carrying it to the oven, putting it in, taking out so try to hold it somewhat level. Cleaning with a wet paper towel is sufficient.

We bought this pan for frozen pizzas but have since used it for many more things! It is a great nonstick pan that is super easy to clean and very light.

This is a quality pan, I used it to bake pizza on the grill as I do in summer. It worked well, the pizza slid right off the pan, the pan withstood the high heat w/o warping, all is good. But I have come to realize that the best pan for ME is a perfectly flat pan, even the edges must be flat. The outer edge of this pan as you can see by the illustration, rolls upward, when stretching dough to fit the pan, it tends to slip down by sheer gravity and the nonstick finish I suppose. I don't think the finished pizza I got was 16" bc of this. On my other pans with a flat 'wall' against the edge, you can push the dough up against it where it tends to remain. All dough is elastic and wants to rebound, but the upward slant of the edge only makes it want to slide down moreso. I recommend this pan if that issue doesn't bother you, bc in all other ways it is a stellar pan. But I wish I realized how important the edge of a pizza pan was to me before....who knew. I bought this under $19 with free shipping, the price fluctuates and now it is almost $10 more. That's another issue.

This cooks or warms up pizza nicely. The holes on the bottom just makes sense. It is decent size as well. I would recommend buying this when it is on sale here.

I have to applaud the ease of using this pan to make pizza at home. So far I have used it multiple times and I have never had any sticking or any dimpling of the bottom of my pizza dough—as I had experienced with prior pans from other manufacturers. As far as I can tell, this one is the winner.

I have nothing but good things to say. It's sturdy, doesn't warp, gives the crust a perfect crunch, the non-stick coating works great allowing the pizza to slide right off, and it's super easy to handwash in seconds. I have not tried putting it in the dishwasher, but I assume it would work just fine given everything else mentioned so far. The diameter is also large enough to fit every pizza as well, a major consideration I was looking for when shopping for a pizza pan. I highly recommend this product!
