Male Version

Q: I am 5’6” and have had children and I do have a longer than average torso. Do you recommend the male or female version?

I am 5'8" and weigh 140. I use the male version. I have been using it when needed for the last ten years whenever my sciatica acts up. I use it for 15-20 minutes in the morning and it always fixes the problem. Sometimes it takes a week or more to fix it but just stick with it and it will work.

Q: How is this device supposed to be used? When? Before exercise?

I use it for stretching my lower back at any time. Warmer muscles always respond better, but I also use it even if I can’t exercise my lower back. Great, immediate relief, but placement is key. Read instructions!

Q: Can you use this lying on a bed or does it have to be the floor for enough pressure?

It does work much better on a firm surface. But if the bed is your only option you can firm things up with a book or small piece of plywood. Please feel free to contact the Sacro Wedgy office with any other questions!
