I bought this based on another reviewer’s recommendation on this floor protector for their senior dog. Our 14 year old dog was sliding on our hardwood floors. Gripping socks and paw stickers were only temporarily helpful. This floor protection has made a huge difference! The product wasn’t too difficult to put down, but a two person job without the roller. Our dog used to stop at the edge of the carpet, looking like she was psyching herself up for the challenging walk across the floor. She’s still learning that she can walk safely, but it’s amazing how the floor covering has helped. The top of the cover has a slight tack to it that we’ve noticed walking with both shoes and bare feet. It has also proven its water resistant feature as the dog needs water bowls nearby, and she’s not a tidy drinker. I wasn’t sure about having the blue color over a clear, but dogs can see blues so I think it’ll help her learn where she can walk.It doesn’t look great, but it does the job and I hope it will last for the remaining months of her life. I recommend this product for anyone who needs to protect their floors and for any senior dog owners!

I’ve ordered this three times and they send the wrong one. It’s clear, not blue and way too sticky and leaves residue behind really bad. The actual stuff is great but they don’t give you that. They send cheap stuff

Lays down easily and comes up without fuss.

I wanted to like this product but it didn’t stick very well to hard wood flooring. Carpeting was even worse. If you catch any exposed end w your foot you wind up pulling it up. It stuck very well to tile. It did not leave any residue. Would not recommend.Updated Review 12/23: This is a really nice company to work with. After posting my review that the product did not stick to all my floors they reached out to me and asked what they could do to make me happy. I found out this is partly my fault as this product is NOT MADE to STICK to CARPET (i wish it would say that explicitly in the description) but it does stick well to tile and somewhat to hardwood flooring. It does not leave any residue even after being down for 3 days w heavy foot traffic.

My 13.5 yo Corgi had DM making his hind legs weak and numb. Walking was difficult and carpeted surfaces were easiest, so we put runners in his main traffic areas. Worked well but he would hit the hard wood floor and lose his legs, struggling to get back up, not always able. So I went looking for something to put on those areas, some only 1foot and other 12 foot stretches. Found review on this product from another pet owner and thought it was worth a try. First impression was it seems as slick as the floor?! I put it down by myself, 65 yo with carpal tunnel and thumb arthritis, so 1.5 hands at best. It is like wrestling Saran Wrap, but doesn’t stick to itself too hard, you can pull apart. Found that using a wide floor mop to help press it down as I went helped. Amazed that it made all the difference and he was able to walk over these areas without slipping. Husband said it gripped his socks more than the wood floor. Made his last 3 weeks better and we said a sad goodbye 2 days ago. Gave us a little more time with him, sad disease - robs his back end but the front end is still happy and loving. Miss our Riley!

as advertised works ok

We recently had movers deliver our things to our newly built house. Since everything was so new and clean, we didn't want the floors, stairs, and trims to get mucked up or even damaged. The floor protector took some time to put down, but it was worth it because it worked with keeping our floors and trims protected! Easy to peel off the floors making clean-up super easy! Contained so much dirt from all of the foot traffic and just dusty boxes.

I always used the clear version and thought this blue version would be the same. WRONG. The blue version doesn't stick to the carpet enough and can be a tripping hazard. Save your hard earned money and buy the clear version instead.
