Right, thinking of getting compatible toners? Don't. I did too. I actually bought them last year before buying these ones. They were supposed to last for 3000 pages and lasted not even 1500 when the colours become all washed out. I emailed the company (who had a big website and said they'd stand behind they product) who gaslighted saying it must be something with my print settings, you know the normal spiel. I ended up giving up and just printing black and white with washed up colours until those toners were empty. Total printing of those toners: less than 2000 pages. So when it was time to buy new toners I considered buying again compatible ones but of a different brand, they quoted me 120 for a CMYK set, still cheaper than the official ones but having being burnt before I decided that for 40 pounds I might as well get the official ones and see. And my friends let me tell you, it's night and day difference! Not only the compatible ones made a mess of my drums (which I had to clean manually) but the colours are completely different and way more visible. And I didn't even changed my printing profile on my PC! Yes they are expensive, yes there's cheaper alternatives, but take if from me - a person who was used to buy compatible printer ink - I'm not going to buy again compatible toners. Just be in the lookout for a good bargain. I know CMY tend to go all at the same time so stock up one a month, I don't know. But the difference in quality is noticeable, these toners are definitely better than the cheaper version. Note: just be sure you have the correct drum kit. My drum kit is the 273 which "technically" is not compatible with these toners due to having a plastic tab on them. But my drums are at 87% of their life expectancy so I just trimmed that tab and installed the cartridge and it worked. 5/5 - can't go wrong with these ones.

I hate having to pay so much for oem toner but having tried a few of the cheaper options I have experienced many problems. Always end up going back to branded and believe it helps my printer last long and print with less problems

I was disappointed with the product, as it fell short of my expectations. It printed significantly fewer pages than what was promised in the description, which was quite frustrating. Overall, the experience did not align with what I had anticipated.

Ich habe in den letzten Monaten für meinen Farblaserdrucker Brother HL-L3270CDW mehrfach Toner-Nachbauten verschiedener Anbieter getestet. Diese sind preislich äußerst attraktiv – ein kompletter Satz kostet oft nur zwischen 25 und 30 Euro. Im Vergleich dazu muss man für die Original-Toner von Brother rund 170 Euro auf den Tisch legen. Allein dieser Preisunterschied macht die günstigen Alternativen auf den ersten Blick sehr verlockend – ein kompletter Nachbau-Satz kostet weniger als ein einzelner Original-Toner. Doch leider zeigt sich in der Praxis bei allen getesteten Nachbauten ein sehr ähnliches Fehlerbild: Das Druckbild ist qualitativ unzureichend. Häufig treten horizontale oder vertikale Streifen auf, die Farben wirken blass und kraftlos, und insgesamt sind die Ausdrucke weder für den beruflichen noch für den privaten Gebrauch wirklich brauchbar. Selbst mehrfaches Reinigen oder Kalibrieren des Druckers bringt keine zufriedenstellende Verbesserung. Mein Fazit: Trotz des höheren Preises werde ich künftig wieder ausschließlich Original-Toner von Brother verwenden. Die Druckqualität ist konstant hoch, die Farben sind kräftig und klar, und man kann sich darauf verlassen, dass alles wie erwartet funktioniert. Mit einem Preis von 42,10 Euro pro Original-Toner relativiert sich die Investition zudem, wenn man bedenkt, wie viel man im Tintenstrahlbereich für vergleichbare Qualität bezahlen müsste. Am Ende spart man nicht, wenn man zweimal kaufen muss – und Zeit sowie Nerven kosten schlechte Druckergebnisse ohnehin mehr als es wert ist.
