Staple notebook - ideal for bullet journalling
I've had this notebook for a month now, I use it daily for bullet journalling with a lot of mixed media and I would definitely buy this for my next journal. It feels very high quality, and has a very clean look to it which I love. It has a pouch in the back to store loose papers which is something I always love in a notebook. It has a ribbon bookmark sewn in and elastic to keep it closed. The paper is thick and I haven't noticed any ink bleeding through the pages. I would say that while the paper is lovely and thick, it is not take water colour particularly well, making the paper ripple (luckily I don't use water colour often so this isn't a dealbreaker for me).The packaging was also clean and elegant which I appreciate, you can tell a lot of care has gone into designing this product.

First impression very good
I've just received my Beechmore dotted journal and after completing first several pages I'm very glad I bought it. The outside is very sturdy looks very elegant. The pages are nice and thick (so far no bleeding through) and the dots are just the right distance away from each other. I also like the fact that the pages are "sewn" to the base - I have previously bought some where pages were glued, which was a catastrophy... It does have a spare pocket at the back side, which is great (it allows for a lot of things to be stored there), but a bit bulky if you want to put the notebook in a cover - I will try to remove mine from the back and put it up front. All in all, after buying 3 different notebooks (including Moleskine), I think I will be using this one throughout the year, as it gives me the most freedom and a good quality.

Quite nice, not as dark green as it looks in pictures
It's a much lighter green than it looks in pictures, which was a little disappointing. The spine also damaged very easily, although that could just be mine. Overall though, a nice notebook with high-quality paper.

Quality and a great price
I just purchased my second dotted notebook. It's great for bullet journals and it works with most mediums, although probably not the very wet ones-I can't really say because I didn't try watercolours or gouache on it yet (I used markers, inkpen, gel pen, etc). The paper is smooth and ivory and there's barely any ghosting, it also depends on how hard you press of course. I didn't see any feathering either. The design is very simple and the notebooks are well made. They look and feel pretty expensive, the green one is a beautiful dark green and feels like leather. I looked around for other brands, compared, watched videos, etc, but I came back to Beechmore simply because I tried it and I like their product, it's great. I had a Moleskine before but for me this one is better. I still have at least 2 months' worth of pages in my first notebook, so it'll be a bit until I start the second, but I can't wait!

Excellent note book
Excellent note book presented in a nice box and wrapping. I use fountain pen a lot so have been wanting a note book with no bleed. This works perfectly and quality is excellent, so much so I've bought 3 to male sure i have spares for the future. Would make a nice gift too with the way it is presented.

Close, but no cigar
After I could no longer procure my habitual clothbound style notebooks- the surface gives good grip- I decided to go upmarket this time, after a bad experience with ink bleeding through the the other side on naff Pukka notebooks. I became more knowledgeable about these upmarket notebooks than I ever expected to be, so it might save you some time to carry on reading this! I often write with fountain or gel pens that tend to bleed through paper so I had to be a little careful in buying.First, I must have spent three hours reading up on 15+ different brandings of notebook on a quiet day. When I dug into it, I found most premium notebooks were criticised for ink bleeding through the pages, with photos as proof, including Perfectly Penned and Moleskine. Leuchtturm paper was criticised to the extent people thought the newer ones were fakes! Moleskine was also criticised as being narrower than normal a5. Lemome was out as the binding apparently came apart too often.I fell in love with the Beechmore Dartmouth deep shiny green notebook colour, but of course no photo colour on the internet is really accurate, is it? What I received had a powdery matte look, but I could have put up with that. I had more misgivings about half of the pages in the book being warped at the binding slightly and puckering the pages a little as if they hadn't pushed it flat when they glued it. Another thing that made me think things got a little slapdash was that the fabric bookmark has been stuffed in all wrinkled, so that I might have ironed it if I were fastidious. As these premium notebooks cost three times what the cheapest notebooks do, I headed into town to check some out in person.Collins and Pukka Pad premium notebooks were eliminated because ink bled through the paper too much. I didn't even go that far with the Oxford Red&Black because they didn't open flat enough for me. The pages appear glued very sternly with little flexibility. Apparently reps like them because they don't fall apart. I just wanted them to fall open. Leitz were quite attractive on the outside with their choice of fabric or imitation leather covers, but although the paper was good, they were both narrower than the standard size and the lines were contained in a box on the pages, this "cute" feature conspiring to make the pages too tight for my purposes. The notebooks which won out were Dingbats. Good, numbered, paper, good binding, nice textured imitation leather cover, pen loop. They just so happened to be the most expensive.None of the other brands I inspected had the issue of page warping. Actually none had a completely creased bookmark either. As far as the Beechmore notebook goes, it feels like it has the thickest paper of the lot, allegedly 120gsm. The pages don't bend easily if you need to flick through them but the notebook a classy item, in line with the premium price. It is averagely priced for these premium notebooks, but despite the paper being among the best, I feel you take more risk on the quality control than you should have to. If you do get a good one however, I have reason to believe it will hold up well.

Very Nice!
This is very similar to the Leuchtturm1917 brand - which I own (a yellow version). I can see that there are many of the same style (same inner pages / pockets etc) throughout Amazon. It seems that the books are branded by many different companies. Thankfully the books are brilliant. The pages are well presented including index / contents. Stickers are included too, though this would dampen the great aesthetics. The rules inside are visible without being overbearing and the pages aren't too thick nor thin, holding lead and ink well. Nice cream colour. Featuring a bookmark tassel and elastic to close. Bargain price. Uplifting, professional book! Recommended!

I feel inspired!
Wow wow wow. I ordered two notebooks from this company and they are both gorgeous. It’s the kind of product that makes you excited to write and to dream up new ideas to fill the pages. Great quality paper, binding, etc. I’ve been a devoted fan of a couple other notebook companies, but my loyalty might be shifting now! :)

Great notebook for bullet journaling. details below
Pros:-really sturdy in the hands-the cover material is well-made and durable-pages are very hard and slightly off-white, which is awesome. Ink is barely visible on the back of a page, even from a sharpie. I also love the texture of the pages.-the book easily opens to close to flat. I get irrationally irritated by notebooks that can't stop closing themselves. Although this one doesn't open 180° and stay that way, it's good enough for me.-the spaces and dots are perfectly sized-no decorations or anything whatsoever. It's just a notebook with a cover, bookmark, and folder pocket. No imprinting, stamping, personalizing touches, etc.Cons (not even cons, just tiny details you might want to consider):-the pages have subtle dotted "creases " to help with ripping them out if you want to. Im not sure why anyone would want that, but it's there and it get annoying because the pages sometimes fold on those creases, and that in turn makes me paranoid because a week of bullet journaling could just rip and fall out of the notebook. Again, it makes me PARANOID that that's going to happen but the punches are extremely faint and it's probably not going to rip unless you actually try to take a page out.-there are only like 108 spaces. For me, as a student, this is JUST enough for 3/4 of a year with my style of bullet journaling, which is extremely compact. If you're one of those that makes equal parts art and bullet journal, this notebook is not for you. Get one with 200+ pages instead. It's just right for me though.
