Large hand held garden trowel
I like that this has a very large trowel so you can displace enough dirt without any real effort. I will admit it has some weight to it but, if you don’t mind when you are digging a hole for planting your vegetable plants it makes for a quick hole. It is also very useful for when you’re popping out weeds, just push down by the weed and pop the plant out. This is not a toy so you will have to put a little effort into working the soil and it will take some abuse. I can’t see how the trowel will separate from the handle unless you literally abuse it. I see where the trowel and handle are tig welded. I will admit that you can get a bad weld but, it’s few and far between. I know there are going to be people who are going to criticize me but this is my opinion and I like this trowel. And I am in my early 60s and not afraid of a little bit of hard work.

Good trowel, funny maintenance guide
The trowel is very sturdy and the handle is designed for a comfortable grip if your hand is large enough. Warning: it may be not that convenient for a person having a small or even midsized hands. Say, I am quite OK with it, while my wife says it is larger than she'd like. The promised "Care Guide" is indeed arrived in my email short after the delivery, and a wonder it was! I cannot help quoting a section verbatim: Daily Maintenance 1. After each day’s use, clean the dirt, sap and plant residue off the stainless steel trowel and handle by using mildly soapy water and an old toothbrush or other non-metallic brush. Avoid chlorine based soaps, they can damage the stainless steel. Also, do not leave the trowel submerged in water for an extended period of time. Clean and dry quickly! 2. After cleaning, be sure to dry well with a cloth and spray oil based lubricant on both sides of the trowel. Wipe excess oil off before storing. 3. After lubricating make sure to store the trowel in a dry place out of the weather. Are you serious? "Spray oil based lubricant" -- is it a gun or a simple garden tool? I have a set of good cooking knives made of machine steel (the sort they made ploughs of) that never pretended to be stainless. I dry them and shove in the drawer. They never got any stains, ever. After having read the "Guide," I thought I purchased a cheap piece of junk instead of easy maintenance reliable stainless steel tool, but decided to give it a try. For the credit to this trowel I have to say that after I had kept it on a covered patio (under the roof) for a month just nocking off the dirt, it did not in fact become any worse. So, at the end of the day it seems to be indeed stainless.

Top Tier Garden Trowel
This is the second one of these I've ordered. The first one was lifted by a contractor when they were cleaning up, that's how good this trowel is, contractor grade! My new trowel has the titanium coating, so a little step up! This will be an heirloom trowel, I'm sure it will last forever (unless wanting eyes spot it)!

Sturdy and well constructed
A truly awesome product. Good, sturdy, well constructed trowels are very difficult to find. I garden year round, both in my yard and in my sister's homestead vegetable garden so I am very hard on trowels. This one performs extremely well

The trowel is well constructed with sturdy materials. However, it came in a very large Amazon box made of heavy cardboard that could have easily accommodated 15-20 trowels. At the checkout I selected the option to have it shipped in the manufacturers packaging instead of an Amazon box, but my choice was clearly ignored. Why bother offering the option if you’re just going to ignore it? It is a terrible waste! At the very least, a padded paper envelope would have sufficed. This is probably not an appropriate review but I am constantly disappointed and frustrated with your shipping practices.
