Sauder Miscellaneous Storage 3-Shelf Bookcase/ Book shelf, Oiled Oak finish

Self assembly furniture usually makes me want to sob - things don’t fit, parts are missing… but not this bookshelf! It was so easy to put together! The box is heavy (>50 lbs) so I opened the box and made several trips upstairs with the parts. Everything fit, everything worked and aside from my perpetual problem of putting one piece in backwards (which I promptly corrected) assembly was a breeze. Highly recommended!

Respectable set of shelves. Good price. Assembly was easy. Snacks and drinks instructions were fun. I will definitely consider Sauder when in the market for similar furniture.

Very nice looks much more expensive then it was. Fairly easy to assemble.

I would have given this 5 stars because I really like it once built, but it did NOT come with all of the tools you need to assemble it. It came with the screws, etc, but you also need a hammer and electric screwdriver (or screwdriver would work too, but would take more time). Assembly is difficult, even with 2 people. When assembling, the pieces don't stay together well until it's finally all done. Also, make sure everything is lined up before you nail the back onto it ... you can not take those nails out and try again once they are nailed in. Once built, it has 3 shelves (2 pieces of wood you put in) that can be put in at different levels, you can choose. There was one hole that you needed to screw something into that was at an angle when it should have been flat. We could not get the screw in perfectly, but were able to get it in at angle so things would match up. Otherwise, now that it is built, I do like it and it is sturdy. I got the black one.

Very good looking for a piece of flat pack furniture. It took quite a while to put it together -- I'm glad I wasn't the one who had to do that. The color in the picture is accurate.

The shelf is very elegant! It's a perfect piece for any household. Keep in mind it is heavy.

We had moved from a two story home to a new one story home with the "Frog" room over our garage. Made it into my office and needed something to put items on, which I had run out of room for. This Bookcase works perfect for my office. It came a day earlier than expected and was very easy to put together. The color goes very well with my office desk. I measured the area where I wanted to put it, and the size was perfect.

The quality is better than I expected for this price point. Of all of the "assembly required" furniture that I have purchased. this was by far the easiest to assemble. All of the parts were there, they all lined up and the instructions were very clear and detailed.I had a prior experience with this company where one of the parts came damaged. There online service department was very easy to navigate and order a replacement part. It arrived in two days.I am very impressed with this company, and they will be my go-to for any future needs.
