*UPDATED 5/9/20*Gxmmat contacted me several times wanting to make this right. I was hesitant because I still wanted to have the right to return the mat to Amazon for a full refund (the refund period was extended due to CV-19). I told Gxmmat this and they still wanted to send a replacement knowing that I may return the original order for a refund. I received the replacement mat, including gloves and storage bag (same as original order), within about 2 weeks. The item is new, definitely not a previously returned mat. I haven't used it enough yet to comment on the quality (i.e., was my original a fluke or is the product just inferior) but I will update again after I use it more. Adding 1 star to the review just for customer service and Gxmmat standing behind their product.*ORIGINAL REVIEW*I really wanted to like this mat. It seemed like a good mat when it arrived. It doesn't have an overwhelming chemical smell. I liked the bag and even the free workout gloves were decent. However, after about 3 workouts, one area of the mat began degrading. The image attached to this review was taken after six 30-35 minute workouts wearing shoes (boxing-type workout). This is completely unacceptable for the price of this mat.At least it has free returns so this will be going back to Amazon. Going to try a Gorilla Mat instead when they are back in stock. I'd recommend passing on this one. It has the durability of a mat half the price.

LOVE this mat. use outside for my circuit training workouts on our cement patio. What could have been very unpleasant when doing exercises on the pavement with one of those tiny useless mats you can get at any store...has turned into something much more kind to the joints and knees with this over size mat (mine is 6 x 4). Truly worth every penny and much recommended.

It's a great product. I used it on tile and on carpet and it works great in both surfaces. I bought this for doing jumping jacks and it works great!

Update: 01/14/2020Now that we’ve had the mat for a few weeks I thought it might be a good time to give some more thoughts. It’s size has really been a great factor in how more usable this is than the normally much smaller mats you see in stores. Our last mat was starting to peel and really show its wear after a couple of years, but I can see this lasting much longer...it’s just very solid. On that note, although it may not appear that thick, but it feels just right. It gives enough absorption, but we remains firm enough to give proper support. No problems with this moving around on our wood floor, either. We just leave it laying out all the time in our workout room, and don’t have to worry about damaging it without shoes or anything, it’s so durable. I can also add this company actually cares about ensuring it’s customers satisfaction. They’ve made sure I was more than happy with my mat, and it’s been much appreciated!Really high quality mat. Seems to be very durable though time will tell. It came rolled and not folded, so there are no creases. My wife really loves the mat, so that’s what really matters, lol. A plus is that it looks really good in the workout room! Will post pics soon. So sad, I highly recommend this mat.

This is a great workout mat. I had previously purchased mats that came in puzzle piece squares with edging that I had to tape together. Those mats were much cheaper and would shred within a year requiring replacement. This mat is clearly a much higher quality mat. The mat isn't slippery to workout on and it rolls up to a very compact size. The mat came with a storage cover, 3 Velcro type straps with buckles and a free pair of workout gloves in the storage cover pocket. The price for this mat is around 3 times that of the cheaper ones but should pay for itself over time as I had already gone through 3 of the previous cheaper mats. There was no odor to the mat either. I would definitely recommend this mat.

Awesome mat and the exercise glove comes in handy too. Good for aerobics and HIIT. It seems really durable. Works pretty good on hardwood and tile floors.

The thickness is perfect for my needs. I have placed a Life Fitness G7 pulley gym on the mat. I was concerned it might not be a fit for me and possibly better as an exercise mat but I was wrong. It works well as an exercise mat or for placing bikes or machines. The quality is excellent and better than anything I saw at retail stores. I strongly recommend this matt.

Updated June 2020...This is the second mat I bought....however for it being the exact same listing the mat I received was significantly smaller. Still the best mat I’ve ever used. The first one I used mostly for HIIT and yoga workouts and has held up for several years being left outside to the elements. The second one I am using for weighted jump rope stations and it’s amazing. No tears and disintegration. Just wish it was the same oversized measurements as the first one I ordered.Best mat I’ve ever bought. Arrived in great condition with no smell. Use mine outside for HIIT, yoga, bootcamp workouts and it holds up well in the elements
