These things are a breeze. They went together easily, the bottle I used fit perfectly! I used a 17 fl oz bottle from Sparkling Ice (black raspberry flavor if that makes a difference...) I also used a bottle from Clearly American 33 fl ozs that you get right from walmart for $0.68... which works great as well. They fit like a glove. I see all of these negative posts and cant understand why! So far so good... I just put them in the plants today so I will keep this post updated and let you know how the watering goes. Very simple to understand and use... The hardest part for me was using the very sharp tool to poke a hole in the bottle to act as a pressure release lol I am clumsy! Managed not to poke myself so yeah, that was good lol

A Dasani water bottle screws securely onto the spike. I found that I had to poke 2 holes in the bottom of the bottle in order to get the valve to work correctly. You have to push the valve all the way in to the side of the spike. I live in the desert and 2 bottles/spikes kept one of my outdoor succulents going for 2 weeks.

I could notnget these to drip no matter what i had the nozzle tightness at. Gave up and just ordered the glass bulb waterers for my trip 💃EDIT: After seeing these in use on some fb pages, i learned you have to cut the top off of whatever vessel you screw these on to! Sucks I almost threw these away due to no instructions but thank goodness I have that hoarder mindset huh

So I bought the recommended bottle types and it seems to be working. The problem with only being able to use Dasani or Aquafina water bottles is that their larger sizes are not as easy to find as other brands. I need to use this at 11 days and my plant requires every other day watering and I don’t think then 16oz bottle is enough.

Worked remarkably well. Went on a 2 week vacation and needed to keep my 3 foot AppleTree alive. I soaked the soil in the pot for 2 days and then I used 3 of the spikes on the slowest drip setting and the tree survive California dry hot weather for 2 weeks.

As advertised 1.1inch inner diameter capsule ?The only bottle inner diameter would fit is Coke bottle not Aquafina + other brand I’ve try on and I was in hurry for a trip so just used one ! After a trip will update the reviews.

Went on vacation for two weeks and, for the money it worked. Sadly I had to buy plastic soda bottles to fit them, which I did not see, though maybe it was there, in the ad.

I bought these through Amazon, not realizing that there was a "no return policy" from this seller. The watering tips that are supposed to screw onto certain types of bottles do not have deep enough threads to seal (I tried four different brands of bottles). As a result, water continuously leaked thru the screw top. The "regulating valves" also do not securely fit into the spout, so water also leaks here. So, there is no way to regulate water flow with leaks from both the spout and the valves, a 16 oz bottle leaked out entirely from the threads and the valve, even when I blocked off the bottom of the spout. I tried to return the item, but then realized that there was a NO RETURN/NO REFUND policy on the item. WHAT A RIP OFF.
