Studebaker SB2145B 80's Retro Street Bluetooth Boombox with FM Radio, CD Player, LED EQ, 10 Watts RMS Power and AC/DC

Love it! Bought it to try out at the drive in. We like to sit outside in our chairs and enjoy the movie. Sometimes the volume of the movie isn't as loud as others, so that was the main purpose of getting a box and at first couldn't find the station I needed (dial is analog) but once I did find it, it was nice and loud, no distortions and it was awesome. Made Shang-Chi more enjoyable since we could stay outside and hear everything. Also, there's cool lighting feature on it, but you can turn it off, which also was good for our drive in experience. Music wise, it's dope. Great sound quality and connects quickly and easily to your phone with tbe Bluetooth. Once you connect that first time, it quickly recognizes it afterward when you turn it to that mode. Totally worth it!

The last radio that I bought many years ago finally broke. After searching the internet for a long time, I decided to buy this boom-box. Was a very good decision. It's so easy to use and the sound is truly great. I am very glad I purchased it. I am able to listen to the music using a headphone, too. I highly recommend this boom-box and the seller. I am very happy.

My husband loves this radio. The old boom box we had gave up the ghost, and I purchased this as a surprise Christmas gift. He loves it - the sound is crisp and clear, and can be quite loud if desired. It is a pretty radio, and the glow is something he does not care about but it is very pretty. It is easy to use. There is no direct AC connection - the connection to 120 VAC is through a charger which charges the internal batteries. Husband is not dragging it around to the beach (we are ~70), so is using it continually connected. Instructions say this is will decrease life of internal batteries, but hopefully even so will still work through the charger even if batteries degrade, as that is the only way he will use it. I would definitely buy this radio again (it also has a CD player), and recommend it!!!

Best feature beyond the sound is the auxiliary input so I can listen to my Kindle music playlist. It also comes with a recharging battery that lasts for quiet awhile depending if you use a CD or radio/Kindle inputs. I think about 3 hours with CDs and closer to 5 hours with radio. I have not measured it. I got it so I can listen to the tunes while out working in the yard and my late 80s cassette tape ghetto blaster is radio only as it eats cassettes and those are not easily available in the digital age. Only downside is the Auxiliary input, there is a weird feedback burp that occurs periodically when the Kindle is plugged in and not playing music or an audiobook.

Speaker was really nice at first, not impressively loud but did its job and has good sound quality. However after a couple weeks it doesn’t work properly. When using Bluetooth it randomly disconnects and reconnects like every minute and sometimes cuts straight to static. Tried my CDs instead and those would just stop playing and wouldn’t resume unless I let it sit for a few hours to get maybe 1 or 2 songs before it stops again. Only thing that works is the radio, haven’t tried aux yet. It does look nice and the light show part is cool but ultimately does not do its job.

I live in a small three bedroom apartment and you only need to turn up the dial to about 20% for the system to be at a comfortable listening volume that is loud enough to fill the room, and not have a ridiculous amount of audio spill into other rooms that may disturb others. Conversely, if you have some annoying neighbors that carry a small portable speaker around that don't know the meaning of keeping things at a respectful volume, this system is great at giving them a taste of their own medicine. I don't necessarily recommend blasting it so loud, but if vengeance is what you seek, this may help you find it. Because no matter if they decide to take the party to a different room, you can easily unplug and carry on to the next destination until they get the picture and turn their $#&@ down. It's at least loud enough to make your floors start shaking. Bluetooth works great, CD player causes no issues, radio is decent, and I'm also able to plug my PC up to it via AUX cable. Longest battery life I had was about 5 hours and that was with the light show capabilities turned on. I rarely turn them off, although the sound waves are just for show, and doesn't actually sync to the music, which is somewhat disappointing. Either way this is great for the price, but be warned that extended use at loud volumes could potentially damage the speakers, so blast it sparingly.

We ordered this for our daughter for Christmas (with fairly low expectations due to the unknown "Studebaker" brand name) but were very pleasantly surprised at the excellent sound quality and many bonus features! I am a professional recording engineer and am not easily impressed, but this unit sounds REALLY good! Our daughter loves the optional light display when the music is playing and the ability to connect her iPhone or iPad via Bluetooth, as well as being able to play all of her favorite CDs again! If this continues to work as it now does, I would not hesitate to highly recommend it!

Works as expected. It’s a really great product for a preteen.

I love the light's showy aspect, however the antenna broke off and I can't receive any radio stations.

Stopped working after 3 months - specifically, the battery stopped charging. This is a bad product.
